Hey there everyone, i'm 17 years old and in year and a half i'm about to finish high school.

I've made some decent money online and i plan to go some college and get out of my country... Want to try some new things and try a new land.

I'm pretty much into business, economy and investing stuff... so in what college i should go?

I'm not too much into parties so i want some quite place to live with some ordinary stuff going on... And maybe some parties at the weekend.

My monthly income is around $5,000 so what the best comfortable college and place to go and continue the live lol.

Thanks for all your suggestions. :)

FilipMKD.

What kind of geographic setting and climate do you like the most? Its really hard to know what will be best for you without know that.

Depends on what you want to achieve really.
Do you later on want to start a company?
What kind of climate do you want to live in?
Do you want to live near a beach?

Generally speaking (as I'm reviewing my options now too) for me I'm looking at these options:
Australia, Canada, Switzerland, UAE (Dubai) or Thailand.
In no particular order.
Australia, Canada and Switzerland have great economies.
Dubai has like no tax on income and no VAT (but has other forms of taxation)
Thailand obviously because it's awesome living there. Worry free life. And you can live like a king with your income.

Me thinks that the kid is getting $5000/month from his parents and just wants advice.
Reality will hit hard when school starts and that $5000/month will be gone on books, school and cheap food and he'll be forced to live at home lol.

P.S. If you are making SUCH good money that you can afford $5000/month, why go to school? spend that time doubling your income.

I'm up for hot weather more, that's everything that i know so far... lol

I'm not pretty sure if i want to start a company... Basically that's pretty much public for me and i don't want that kind of life. I want to continue working on the internet as now and have fun.

Anywhere with a beach that has blue water, beautiful women and Heineken for 50 cents a pint

Seems fair enough for me too.

It isn't everything about the money, why make money if you keep them and not spend them?

I want to go to other countries, try new stuff and you know learn something.

Southern Europe And South America may be a good location for you, places in America like Hawaii and Florida are nice but you would burn through the money very fast due to the pricing for international students being so high as well as apartments rental costs, which would barely give you enough do to anything.

What country are you from?

Thailand was very nice, I lived there for a few months but as someone from a western country it gets old pretty quick. Nice place to visit, not to live.

Australia is nice, and if you have USD, the exchange rate is very favorable now making it less expensive. They have good schools, nice beaches, but the cost of living is still high compared to any developing country.

I'm comming from Macedonia, a small good country in the center of the Europe. Its pretty inexpensive to live here, like cheaper than India...

With 2,000 euros you are a king here lol.. But it has become very boring here, you know i'm born here, lived here for 17 years so far and its pretty much stupid to continue here.

Still have some time to decide where to go after high school, so probably this summer i'll visit more places and stay there for a short period to see how will i like it and at the end decide.

Give me more suggestions people :P

Hmm, Isn't Macedonia itself is the best place ? Cost of living isn't high, it is full of mountains N shit. If you are into investing then why not start on saving at the cost of rent and other stuff. I would rather stay in Macedonia, live like a king, and save some $ on future investments. Don't you think ? And you don't have Euro as currency so economy isn't fucked like it is in my country :)

You'll have a little sticker shock leaving Macedonia and going to many other countries. Why don't you ask some Macedonians that have left Macedonia and see other parts of the world what they liked?

Good chance that they will have a perspective that most of us that are not from there will have.

I can tell you that a friend of mine from your country liked both Miami, Florida and San Francisco, California but that was on a working/vacation kind of trip. He seemed to blend in fine although some of the dining out was a little different for him as a cultural thing.

pick a country that has a language that you like and it's easy to learn, language is an important factor.

the best place ever is with your parents, costs only go up after that

You should move somewhere where you can live like a king for very cheap. Save as much money as possible and try to turn that into a multi-million dollar business.

Maybe it is... But i lived here enough, and want to move on.

I think i'm going to like Miami too. I'll add Miami to my visit list!

May i know your Macedonian friend of yours?

Even if i pick a country where i don't know the language it will be a factor plus to learn new things. :)

Holy crap no.

That's kinda too slowly and boring bro, and i'm not pretty much into working whole life and live a cheap live. Even as a king.

Dude, immigration is rather restrictive. Your original question seems to imply you could go anywhere, immediately. That is far from the case. Macedonia is not even an EU member (where free labor movement treaty exists).

Your ticket out is education. Either a visa to go to a university in a country you'd like to end up living in, or getting a degree and work experience in your home country and try to migrate based on skills (shortage)...in the US they call those STEM workers. http://www.cslnet.org/our-agenda/what-is-stem/ It probably applies to any country that you aspire to migrate to.

Alternatively, you build a (very) large nest egg and immigrate as a business investor. Rules differ by country, but it is doable, however it should be something you have a "track record" on and will employ several locals in that country.

Of course, you could "sneak" into wherever, but then you will severely limit your economic opportunities and will have to deal with forever evading authorities. Probably a backwards step from where you are now, especially at $5k/mo.

Good luck.

I have been watching some places and movies on the internet and i'm right now interested in LA, NY and Miami.

Can someone if have time to say what he thinks about these and some information's on the education system there and what's cool and what's not...

I'll try to make some search on google about them and see what can i find out, but its better if someone who has been to those cities and tell me the truth.

Thanks for all your help so far guys.

Why don't you travel around the world? Assuming you've got a nice passport (USA, Sweden, etc.) you could as well spend some years going from place to place.

Well, if it's for you. If you want to settle down and get insanely rich...that'd be a choice too.

go to developing countries where you can take advantage on the exchange rate.

$5000 is not a big deal in developed countries, but you can live like a king with that amount in the developing ones
