Hey,

I’m Khaled from Morocco. I used to make money selling digital items in a game, but bans, updates, and a shrinking player base made it unsustainable. that pushed me to explore new ways.

I’ve spent the last two months learning about the Cash on Delivery model in the gulf countries, mainly from free content and deep YouTube dives, this week I will be putting what I’ve learned into action and launching my first campaign. "fingerscrossed" XD

I’m starting small but doing everything myself, creating my own ad creatives, building landing pages, doing product research, calculating breakeven, running simulations, and watching KPIs closely to understand where things go wrong (or right). I’m not looking to shortcut the process, I actually want to go through it properly and learn from the experience.

I’m targeting the Gulf region for now, I know COD has been around for years, but I haven’t seen much recent discussion about how it’s performing in that market today. So I just wanted to ask, is anyone here still active in COD in the Gulf countries? Not asking if it's “dead”, but more curious to hear what has changed recently, or what people have noticed working or not working.

Thanks.

I didn't try it yet, but I've already heard some good things about it, countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE can become a great source of income for your business, it's definitely not dead

It great that your diving into the process and tracking KPI closely , that the way to go. COD is still a reliable model in the Gulf, but youl need to keep an eye on logistics. One thing that changed recently is how picky consumers are about delivery times, so fast shipping options are a big plus.
