Targeting kw in spanish in US google search

Can anyone help me out?
Is thr proper setting to get .com domain but all content in spanish?
What about backlinking? Should I target .com sites in eng but try to post there with articles in spanish?
What would you do?

Put your website on US based server. Add a lot of spanish contents with the targeting keywords. Try to get backlinks from websites that has .com tld with spanish content, i know that is hard to find but you can take help from many forums. Also, make niche backlinks.
