Sudden Drop in organic traffic

Hi all,

My site was doing well but after 16th aug there is big drop in clicks and impressions though avg position and CTR same, there is no change in that but how come clicks and impressions dropped.

I checked google analytics too there is big drop in organic traffic.

Please Let me Know :)

This could be a trend. Normal fluctuations, I guess
 
For what it's worth there have been several small ranking changes since August.

Check your site on GSC. Any error messages there? It's mobile-first so there might be a mobile problem?
 
hmm should count yourself lucky? now than discover? way back Aug a lot of us already been affected till. now
 
It seems Google update behind all of this. 16 Aug, there's update in semrush sensor.
 
If this is temporary it could be the google dance. Google is trying to determine what position to ultimately place it on its index.

OP, if you are also tracking your KWs and nothing changed, then it could be a seasonal niche, or you might have lost a few rankings that are bring in the visit. Not forgeting that there has been too many small big G. updates.
 
Many peoples faced ranking issues since the last few days, It could be the google dance, Maybe everything resolved soon :)
 
A sudden drop in organic traffic can be caused by many factors, including a drop in rankings, changes made to your website, changing relevance for your content, or Google updates. There are also situations no one can truly influence
 
Yes maybe because of trends I guess. Lets see
 
If you don't find any messages on GSC then wait for sometime for things to settle and then plan accordingly.
