Most of the SEO plugins I used have suggested me to set Static Homepage but Lately I have noticed that once I make latest posts as homepage Google indexes my site more frequently/faster so which one is good for a blog that is constantly updating like news site that the posts get outdated after x period of time and it needs faster indexing ?

what are your experiences ?

Static homepage is the way to go but your money pages should be the internal ones.

Rank those as they are KW specific or at least should be.

I would recommend using a static page as your homepage as well.
You can customize it a lot more and it's arguably the most important page on your website.

That really depends on the type of the website,
for a news/blog website for example, having the latest posts on the homepage can be better as it will make sense for the users in the first place and help to drive some traffic to your latest posts,
it does pass some link juice to newly published articles/posts initially which help for a faster pushing/ranking (especially for news websites)

You can always make a combination of both of these by making some static contextual fixed parts,
this can be easily done using some page builder such as elementor or js composer

I'd use static home page only if you're offering a service, a specific one.
If it's a authority site/blog - we usually make custom sections with short headlines + pull few (not recent, but popular) posts for every section/category.
