Starting a Medium.com "Recommends" Group

Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker here and this is my first thread. Be nice

Medium is a typical example of what I call OPN (Other People's Network). They have a huge growing network of readers, you can use them to amplify and expose your content. I haven't found any groups or hacks on BHW to help with "hearts" and recommends on medium. These 2 actions are important to be trending and get featured.

I'd like to start this thread as an experiment so we can help each other out.

The rules are pretty simple:

1 Everyone in the group needs to have a medium account
2. Post your article link
3. Like ("heart") and recommend (there's a recommend button on medium) the articles of others.
4. Don't lie and be lazy. If no-one participates then this is a fail.

If this group gets big enough this can help us trend on Medium and be in their newsletter, front page etc.

Lemme know if you think this is a good idea!

The thing is, people will post shit articles like "Get cheap RS gold" and then they will demand you to like that shit, and soon Medium will figure out that there is a group of people that like each other shit for the sake of cheating the algorithm.

You can also add "After how many days, we can get kick from medium" SkyrocketSEO Already elaborated.

There's already groups of people doing this for HN, Product Hunt powerusers (main trick is to not send direct link for an upvote but ask people to search then vote. Votes from direct links are basically disregarded by PH and HN algos) and the like...

The reason I'm posting this on BHW is that overall the quality of the people here is quite high. I thought it would be a good experiment. So of course it can fail.
