All my method, I've been using this recently and it's working well for me.

Step 1:
Create a lens on any niche you're currently promoting. Most of us link our Squidoo back to our money sites so make sure the lens has the same exact primary keyword as your money site.

Step 2:
Once you create the lens, begin to add more tags. Add as many relevant tags from your keyword list as your can. This is important.

Step 3:
Build your lens out. Squidoo will let you know what you need to change by running a Health Check. If you did everything right your lens will start to move up in rank.

Step 4:
Go to Squidaholic.c0m and enter your lens name uptop to see its stats. Scroll all the way down to....
The BuzzMeter

See the 5 most recent news items and blog posts for the keyword " Your Primary Keyword".

Voila!
There are you blog links to comment on. These will be highly relevant to your lens and your site. Comment back to your lens so the linkjuice can be passed upward.

Enjoy!

always good to find a new 'trick' to boost up a lens...thanks

how often do you feel you have to do check out lenses on 'squidaholic'?

R-

Well, you should check your lens every single day. Go to edit this lens and make at least one edit per day. Even if it's adding a sentence or deleting it, you must do this.

Secondly wait until you don't see your lens moving up in the Squidoo ranking as swiftly anymore and add a module or add a significant amount of text to a module. Whenever you do this go back to squidaholic and see if you have different results. If you don't you may try switching your primary keywords around.

If there' s more interest I'll drop some more Squidoo gems here in the thread..

HAHA I tried this and 4 of the 5 pages llisted were MY pages/blogs created by SEnuke :)

Still it found one more blog on which I have now left a comment, so thats good.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Squidoo outbound links NoFollow?

More tips please. This is a great help for me as my client keeps me creating lenses day in day out.

I appreciate the thanks guys. I'll post a Squidoo tutorial this week on how to get your lens the highest possible ranking. If I get caught up please send me a pm to remind me.

sdbeachbum15 - You aren't focusing on whether the outbound link is follow or no-follow, you are going to the url of that outbound link and getting a backlink from it by commenting at that blog. It should be very relevant.

Ok, you're going to run out of backlinks so I like to then gain backlinks from the more powerful website extensions like .edu blogs. These weigh heavier than .com backlinks.

Use a site like
Code:
http://www.edublogfinder.com

This will get you relevant .edu's to your Squidoo lens. You should be using that tool to get backlinks to every page of every site you own (.edu deep backlinking) - Watch the results!

Do you guys want a detailed Squidoo tutorial on getting lenses ranked high or just some more tips?
