You should look at way more than just Moz metrics. Ahrefs and majestic are much better things to look at.

I would say to dig deeper into this, those analytics aren't enough to determine.

I would suggest you to look for the backlinks thoroughly, spam score is high. You also need to work on other factors to make it more effective after buying.

Anchors, historic anchors, Wayback, Domaintools screenshots, hosting history and if everything checks out, then you go and check the backlinks by hand. That's all you will ever need, not some pathetic spam score from a company that has barely 20% of index that Majestic and Ahrefs have.

You can always decrease the spam score of your domain if you add more informative content to it, decrease the number of external links on this website and increase the number of backlinks from different niche related domains. If you check about Spam Score, you will notice that it includes a lot of different factors, including content on the website. You can check backlinks for this domain, create a list of backlinks pointing to this domain, if most of them are spammy, it would be better to search for other domain, as it will be hard to get them deleted, also it could be the reason the domain authority increased for this domain and if you delete those backlinks the domain authority will decrease as well.

yeah you can buy before itself check history PA DA TF and RD, but at my point of view i will drop it
