Some keywords are just so valuable! You should look to the three sites behind you! Usually, you see this tactics in porn keywords and some financial keywords.

Better yet, the site that took your position is the culprit! Best to

Move site to another domain

Send a detailed file of the bad activities to google (registered mail)

File a complaint with the redirecting site at the hosting company and at the domain registering company (the source of the redirection to begin with)

After moving site, start building top PR LINKS massively, i mean articles, blogs web 2.0, profiles, etc. Continue the massive link building until your position is restored!

Now, you have to decide if the keyword is worth fighting for, because everyday you do nothing to reverse the issue, your position will not recover!

Ugg boots and jerseys? Sounds like the links being spammed constantly on my forum. Not sure what to tell ya. Either get a new server and start some new niches if that's possible. If all your income relies on this one site in this one niche, maybe you don't have that option though.

Regardless, if you ever start a new site I'd get a new host so (s)he doesn't follow you.

sign up with google.com/webmasters to find out if your site has been hacked. there may be some other tools to help as well, or at least some support to get help from google
 
Dude, just submit for reconsideration and let Google know what you found. If you are white hat, then Google will probably try to do something about it. It would be interesting to see what Google's response is nonetheless.
 
Also contact your host to get a dedicated ip.
It should cost you only a dollar or 2 per month.

lol, no it's not me. My programmers do think someone hacked into my servers though because I don't know how else someone would get the same ip.
 
This is not a fake post, but I do understand how you could say that because there are a lot of people in here trying to find information on how to sabotage there competitors and fishing like you say for good tactics.

I recently had someone build some bad backlinks to one of my money sites. Funny thing is, the bad effects only lasted a few days, their shitty spam blog comments actually helped me out. Haha.
 
Wow something similar happened to me about 2 years ago, a guy bought a domain that was the same name as my domain name except he added a ?S? to the end of the name, he copied all of my content and started ranking. I had to contact his host which was godaddy and jump through hoops to get him shut down godaddy took about 2 weeks before they took action but I also contacted Google and filed a copy write complaint and Google got back to me right away they gave him like 3 days to take down the content the guy didn?t respond and Google removed all his pages and the guy was never heard from again.

did you suffer any loss in rankings and did they recover if you did? I just had a message sent to Godaddy to get them removed.

I did suffer a rankings drop that's how I found the site to begin with, when I checked my keywords I noticed I had dropped to the second page when I was ranked number 2 for a keyword for over a year, when I checked Google I saw what I thought was my site at number 10, when I checked the site I noticed that the banner ads where different but I still thought it was my site, I thought I got hacked or something but then I noticed the domain name had a "S" at the end.

Long story short I was back to my number 2 ranking about a week after Google removed him from the index.

So if you lost your rankings you should get them back once he's shutdown, but the guy that screwed with me didn't do a job on my backlinks. Get this guy shutdown shouldn't be a problem put your backlinks are a different issue.

Are you WhiteHat Enough to contact Google?
