Some CPM Ads Questions Before Scaling

Hey,

I am starting to generate a nice amount of real human traffic so I research monetization methods for setting up before I scale.

After reading a bunch of threads here on BHW, I think I want to go with CPM ads and I have some basic questions.
If you guys can shed some light on it will be much appreciated.

From the information I gathered, I understand that I should send my traffic to a website that runs ads from multiple ad networks.

1. How many ad networks can I run at a time? Do ad networks have rules about it?
2. Does the ad networks care what is the source of my traffic and if it is random? (not just rates wise, rules and restrictions wise as well)
3. The website, can it be just a landing page with ads or it must be a real website?
   If a real website, How much content should it have? Can it be in any niche (Mainstream)?
4. For increasing page views, what type of website would you recommend for mixed traffic?

I am quite new in the monetization business, sorry in advance if those are silly questions or already discussed subjects.
I was searching the forum a lot but I didn't find clear answers about those subjects.
