Slightly stuck? Where to Go Now!? Hmmm..

I have a blog, getting around 250-400 visitors a day, slowly rising over the past weak, i have been doing massive social bookmarking, bookmarking my posts, and bookmarking all the videos i upload through tube mogul, i am using firefox imacros to do the bookmarking, but now it seems that IM STUCK!!, i am doing great with the bookmarking, but what should i do now

I know that bookmarking isnt the only thing you should do in SEO, but i dont know where to go next, i know some people are thinking "just read the forum!!" but there is so much info that its overwhelming, i dont know where to start.

So im asking people who know what they are doing, what now? How should i continue to get more traffic, other than bookmarking, continue working my way up the google scale, i do hold 3 position in google with this blog, but the thing is in my niche i can rank for ALOT of keywords, so i gotta keep working up.

Any help from anyone that knows what they are doing would be amazing!

If all you are doing is social bookmarks you need to mix it up a bit to get ranked better. Try mixing some profile links and articles and that should help some.

Creating forum profiles with my backlink in the "about me" section and in the signature was one of the best things I did to get my site moving up. I bought a 5k xrumer blast in the buy/sell forum for $30. Don't be surprised if you do an xrumer blast and your site falls in ranking for a week like mine did, it came roaring back 3 or 4 positions higher for 15+ keywords I was targeting. The blast only targeted 1 keyword and 1 URL, but it helped me rank for many other keywords as well.

First you should decide where you want to go. Are you wanting to monetize or get more traffic and higher Google rankings?

ok then I would start seo-ing and linking-building for some inner pages (staying around the core keyphrase you already rank for) and get some of those ranking in addition to your homepage.

Do the following:
1.Continue with your Bookmarking.
2.submit articles to article directories.
3. create link wheels if necessary
4. Create profile links
5. Make some blog comments
6. Send your RSS feeds to RSS aggregators
7. Do some on site SEO if you havent done any.

This should help you rank for quite a number of keywords. Keep doing this and you will rankweel

You can build backlinks any way you want. The Gurus give you some formula and say to mix it up over different types of stuff, i.e. articles, rss, profiles, comments, forums, etc.

Here's basically what matters. Just get backlinks and diversify over different IPs. I've pushed my sites to the top of very competitive keywords using limited diversity - mostly profiles and occasional articles.

I don't believe that google can tell the difference between an article backlink, forum profile backlink or blog comment backlink. The Internet is based on ip's, which just a series of numbers - 000.00.000.

The most valuable lesson I've learned with my portfolio of sites is that you don't stop building backlinks, BUT the problem is you can get overwhelmed thinking you have to build backlinks 20 million different ways. Just start with one and do it for a while and watch your progress. If it's not moving fast enough or you don't think it's having the impact it should (assuming you've done proper research and you know the sites you're going against) than add a second method and so on.

Ultimately, you need to be the judge of what works for you. I've stopped listening to most of the so-called gurus because my own experiments/lessons have taught me that they are full of s%*t.

seriously, thankyou everybody, you have helped me ALOT, ive done some research, and im going to listen to all of you, i am going to do comments on high pr sites, .edu and .org, some profile, and create rss feeds for those sites, combine the rss feeds into one, than submit that rss feed to different rss aggragators and ping and bookmark to get them picked up quicker, everybody here helped, thakYOU!!!, i will take everyones advice!
