Hey guys,

Which site-wide links carry more SEO value header links or footer links?
Any articles/tests that prove it?

Google says:
“Sitewide header and footer links are not a very great weight in general.” – Source
But they didn't say which ones are more valuable.

I know that header links may carry slightly more value. But I need poof.

take a look at this: https://neilpatel.com/blog/links-building-google/

a summary from middle of this post: "Now in order of effectiveness, in-content links help the most, then sidebar links, and then sitewide footer when it comes to placement."
Thanks for sharing this!
Sorry, I had to clarify, I'm curious mostly about internal links. (I've just added the word "internal" to the topic of this thread)

For example I have domain.com/landing-page
If I link to it from header navigation VS footer navigation, does this link get different SEO juice?

i have not seen or read about any single variable testing that tested this out. if all things equal, and I had to guess, I would say header navigation would count more

I can't give you proof but I know that header links carry a lot more juice than footer links. In fact, footer links are insignificant when it comes to link juice. If you have the site heat map, then the location where users spend more time carry more weight.
