    Hey, folks.
I'm not sure if I'm in the right section, sorry if I'm not.
I was wondering if you know any simple ways to add a donate\support\pledge button without being a legal entity(just an individual) to my website?
I know paypal provides buy now and donate btns but as far as I understood you should be a non-profit organisation for donate btn(otherwise it gets tricky and requires accounting from you - what u spent this money on) and have business or premier account for buy\pay now btns.
I mean there are hundreds of ad networks where it's ok if you are an individual but I couldn't find any services that provide such feature.

    Thanks!

Is your gameplan to fool people into thinking they are donating when they're just giving you free money? (If so, just don't.) Or is this just a way for your readers to help you out because they enjoy your content? I know there are plenty of sites where the authors will have something along the lines of "Buy me a coffee!" so there's definitely a legitimate way to do this. I think as long as you make it abundantly clear what the deal is (they're just paying you what they think your content was worth to them), it'd be totally fine.

No, I think it's better to give the user a possibility to thank you for the time you spent on making this website and creating content\filling with conetnt than fill it with ads.
I understand that it probably should be categorized as support or pledge, not donations. But for this purpose paypal wants you to have premier or business account. I was wondering if there is a service for this where I can be an individual not a legal entity?

I would like to see this as well. A simple Paypal donate button or just an easy auth form.
