I'm brand new to literally everything on this site. I just started drop shipping and im now going to try to generate income with blogs. I'm good with computers in the sense that i know how to use and navigate them but i know nothing about making websites and domains and all of that stuff so im attacking it one small step at a time. I plan on making 3 or 4 blog websites to start. each one for a different niche. does it matter if i use .com .org or .info etc...? any advice will be greatly appreciated!

it's doesn't matter ,you can use any one extension.. you must be aware about digital marketing.. .com is best one

How much of a difference would it make to use .com as opposed to .org/.info?

Always .com however I love .org for open source projects

.com is usually very affordable, but I've seen people using .me which was more cheaper for example.

.com is the best domain in my opinion. Take it when you have the opportunity. I take .com

Your website is the pillar from which you build your brand, and it starts with the URL so choosing a brand url with .com extension is important.

You will also have good Resale value of .com extension domains in case if your looking to sell the site in future.

You can easily attract all global audience with .com extension domain names.

Being in the UK I tend to use .co.uk for country specific business.
Google appears to prefer local domains for local searches.

Think about also where any inbound links to your site are coming from.
You can increase your results in local search engine results if you receive a lot of links from local domains.
I tend to rank well for country specific domains. Page one for a local language business site.

.com tends to have more of an international feel to it
I go with that and look to capture incoming links from .com domains outside of my local markets.

And besides what everyone above is saying, i recommend you start small. Start with one website and, depending on how successful you are, build the next one.

Spreading ypurself too thin, especily if you are still newbish to the IM game, can be a recipe for disaster. It's all about quality and not quantity.

If all extensions are available, preference should be given to .com.
