Hello guys should i learn Copywriting before SEO? I want to market my own websites in the future thanks.

i would say seo,, cause after 10 years i'm still learning.

Just focus on one thing for the best results. Focusing on many things at a time will not give you best results. Learn SEO and outsource the rest.

Essentially, they are two different things. Writing content for websites is straightforward. But, SEO is always changing and requires not only to learn it, but to keep up with the changes.

Start by learning SEO, first. Once you learn SEO, you'll be able to find out what methods would work best for you. Part of that could be copywriting, but you can do this later.

I think everything comes in a big package - you will need to start your website, which should contain your content or the things that you are trying to promote. Rather than doing/updating your site twice, you should know how to write good content (ala copywriting style), and put those content onto your website first.
And while writing your content, SEO considerations should come into place- first 2 sentences of your first paragraph should contain exciting, hyped up, marketable, and must have your targeted keywords for your site/article - sometime the first 2 sentences are placed as your site's meta-description, so you should consider that definitely. More SEO things would also come into place as well.
With so many things in mind, it's just a huge package altogether.

Don't bother until you start. I suggest you first launch your site and start learning the essential things. It is not necessary to have a great experience. If you have basic knowledge then it's better you get started.
By the way, SEO is the primary thing from where you can start.

Good luck!

If you can write your own copy, that's a start. Great content will make a blog / site a good visitor experience.

Most of the above answers are simply, incorrect.

SEO is a formula. This is far easier to outsource, because you dont need to have a firm grasp on the language of coercion, to build a link.

Content is king. This is the proverbial salesman. If you cannot connect with your audience, you're going to have a terrible time, wondering what the hell is going wrong. And the people who know how to put words together, charge way more money, when comparing apples to apples.

"You can lead a horse to water..." - With SEO.
"...But you can't force him to drink." - Unless you have persuasive content.

First all SEO is a bigger than content writing. Only contents alone wont help you in ranking your website. Onsite optimization, Meta description, Google Tag Manager etc... organic link building everything needed. content writing is one among those seo services.

Copyright is one of the skills .
However - your best bet is to play to your strengths and outsource stuff you are not so hot at.
You can't keep up to date with everything all the time.

Good luck

First of all, you can have the whole planet show up on your site, and if your site SUCKS and DOESN'T CONVERT, none of your SEO effort matters. Speaking of which, tell me you can't teach a fucking monkey or a god damned gold fish for that matter, to set up profile links. Brainless work. It's a formula.

LEARN copywriting, as it is an actual skillset.
