guys, i have been running my site on blogger from last 2 years, as now my website is doing well, i have daily around 100k to 150k page views, i am thinking to upgrade it to wordpress for better, as i was told by some people that blogger is not good for SEO point of view, also website load slow on blogger as compare to dedicated servers website.

i have few question to ask, please answer them if you can:

    1. if i will move to wordpress from blogger, will my pagerank will be affected?
    2. will dedicated servers with wordpress hosting will really benefit me with SEO & website loading speed, in any way?
    3. i have most of my traffic is from my facebook page, sometimes i even get 500k pageviews or 15k people online at same time. should i really move to dedicated servers? were as blogger is hosting this traffic absolutely free for me.
    4. what dedicated servers should u go for?
    5. is it worth spending 300 usd on dedicated server in my case?

I can give just a few advices.

One, if you do decide to move, make Sure to implement 301 redirects from your blogger to your wordpress site, so that you keep most of your pagerank or link flow or whatever it's called.

Two, for god's sake man, BACKUP your site REGULARLY. The MAIN problem with blogger - and the fact that it's free - is that they could delete your blog ANY TIME THEY WANT. That's the issue... So say you decide to monetize it a bit more, whatever, say you put some PPD links on it and a few - or a few more - banners, and then BAM, you wake up one day with an email in your inbox that your blog has been deleted, and then you're screwed, and there's not much you can do about it...

That's the main reason people suggest not using free blogging platforms for any serious work, since you don't have full control over your site.

I think its better you move onto something you have total control of rather than blogger as scorpion says they can ban you anytime they like and you cant do anything about it

can anyone suggest me, which hosting plan should i take?
will vps work for me? or i'll have to take dedicated?
if dedicated, will they able to handle 10k to 15k people at one time?
