Hey, guys. I need your advice as I was offered a FB page with 5400 likes. Basically it's a rip off of another page with 10 000 likes, with the same subject. It's about "your daily dose of *insert country here* man, it's suppose to be insulting and humoristic at the same time. The price is 20$, it's not much at all but the question is should I make that investment, how can I monetize it in the future. The original page made a website, where visitors can play a "spin game" and see which type of classical *insert country here" they are. Is that the only possible solution for a local page, whose followers do not engage in any other language other than their native?

If we put in the economics on the subject:
- Calculate how much time you are going to need to get 5400likes.
- Calculate how much it would cost you to acquire those 5400likes from FB ads. My averages are 0.10/like so that would make it about 50$.

I suppose you are offered only the FB Page and not the website...so how is the Page is going to continue?

You can also change the name of the page and use the followers in another project.

Also you ll have access to 5400 people from which you could befriend some as admin of the page and invite them to another page later on or add them to a group.

Just my thoughts...

You're deliberating over a $20.00 investment?, what's the worst that could happen?, you would probably spend a lot more acquiring that many likes if they are all legit, so it seems like pretty much a no brainer.

The page doesn't have it's own website. The original (first) page has it, the one I'm offered ( the rip off) doesn't. It's not the money that concerns me, actually it's that it's a copy of another page, which got the idea first ( at least first on our local market). I've always hated when someone is trying to imitate another men's project, but you've got one thing right, the likes are impressive and they are all real, probably thought they were liking the original page. Still not sure 'bout this...

If I had any ideas how to monetize a FB page, we wouldn't be having this discussion. I've checked some methods and 5400 likes would be nowhere near enough. Redirecting the traffic to my own site, related to the topic of the page would be also a little bit hard 'cause the niche is bordered to a typical stereotype of *insert country here* men. It's jokes and memes, how could I benefit from that?
