Should i buy bitcoin?

Buying BTC is never a bad decision, but always a financial decision.

We do not know your finances well, so it will be very incorrect to answer you with a YES or a NO.

BTC or any other cryptocurrency is highly volatile and hence, a very risky asset.

Though it is in the industry for more than 10 years, yet, no one can with 100 percent surety say that it is going to stay.

No matter at what price you buy it will definitely go down from that price point and also go higher in price.

You need to buy and sell and choose your own profit margin.

At the end, it is the money in your bank that matters. :-)

Just my 2sats!

You can buy from an exchange like binance.

If you buy BTC only to pay other services it's ok as long as you buy the BTC now and pay the services right away.
Other way, if you want BTC for investing or trading, you might want to make some research before doing that and, very important, you'll need to be sure that you're ok with loosing some money - as you have that risk.

Buying BTC is rarely a bad decision. It goes up in value most of the time, and is very handy for buying services.
Only real drawback is non existant buyer protection. Once sent, coins are gone forever.
I agree to that as long as you are willing to hold and resist pressure when price goes down (see what happened this year with BTC- from 10k to 5k, then 10k again and now waiting to see how pandemics affects it). Long term, it's a good investment to take into consideration. See the last tweet of Robert Kiyosaky - interesting coming from someone who had no faith in cryptocurrency :D

Invest only what you can afford to lose, stick to a plan because it will go crazy up and crazy down you will panic so you better have some goals and follow them. I recommend to invest even not much we never know

cryptocurrency are good if you trust seller but keep in mind that it can cost some $ to make a transaction because of the miner fees. Maybe use ETH if you want to pay smaller amounts it's cheaper than BTC

Well all the latest mobiles have or will have some form of a bitcoin wallet so there is a future in using digital currency.

Once SEC approves bitcoin ETFs then institutional money can invest and push bitcoin even to $200k. Compared to money printed, this is a realistic price.

But then again they can ban all cryptos and bitcoin crash to $100.

Risk vs reward. At the end its your money, so your decision.

Pretty much every seller takes PayPal, and most take BTC.

I regularly buy things from BHW with BTC - as above it can be volatile so dont put your savings into it, just what you're planning to spend on the marketplace here.

Yes you have less buyer protection than PayPal but if you're buying from trusted sources this shouldn't be an issue.
