I believe adding a blog would be a good idea as long as the blog is educational and gives your traffic useful knowledge on your niche.

In my experience, a blog is often the easiest way for a single page site to expand its search footprint. A single page can rank well for a handful of topics, but it's difficult to target a wide range of keywords with just one URL.

That said, I wouldn't add a blog just for the sake of having one. if u have content that is searched by ur future clients i would recommend creating a blog. u will not need it for ranking a website on a single page but u will be able to attract more visitors through relevant articles nd show your exppertise in the field.

I’ve run a couple of one-pagers myself, and adding a blog gave me a steady stream of new keywords without messing up the original landing page vibe. I just tucked the blog in a /blog subfolder so the main site kept looking clean. Even dropping a post every month or so was enough to reel in more search traffic and show folks the site wasn’t collecting cobwebs.
