I have a 1 product site.
Is there any cheap alternative to have a e commerce store and card payment processor apart from shopify ( Shopify Basic costs $29 monthly (and 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). The Shopify plan is $79 monthly (and 2.6% + 30¢ per transaction) or should I stick with that ?
It's only just 1 physical product.

Thank you !

woocomerce for wordpress is the best platform i can recommend!

Opencart is free, payment process with Paypal...easy breezy beautiful.

Is it better to use their a2 hosting at 4-5 $ /month ?
It says
  • OpenCart is automatically setup for you
  • Hosting optimized for OpenCart websites

WooCommerce. Or if shopify development stores still work, take a look at that. Shopify is easiest to manage, worth it in my opinion.

Try Woocommerce bro....This the much better than Bigcommerce and easy to operate.

I just installed the Opencart software via my cPanel, it is part of the Softaculous group on my hosting package. It takes 2 minutes to install, more time to customize but works good for our sites. We run many with OpenCart and it is easy to customize.

so I am giving woocommerce a try
Can someone recommend me a single product theme ?

Thanks

WooCommerce for sure! A very good and popular theme is Shopkeeper, where you can practically do whatever you want.

The Woo option is way cheaper and yet powerful enough for your needs. Just pay for hosting which you can find a plethora of hosters online. Tons of plugins to satisfy your customizations, mostly which are free. I switched long time ago. Never looked back.

I went for WooCommerce, I just need some inspiration with a theme. It's for a single physical product in 5 diffrent colours and it's only going to sell in the summer...
