Sharing My Journey with a Fresh Website with Detailed Analytics

Friends, I just thought to share my journey with a fresh website that I created 3 months ago. I haven’t worked seriously on this project because of my busy schedule. Still I observed a slow growth in its organic traffic, so I have decided to start working on it and see the results in coming 6 months. I will be sharing the details of work done, important stats, key metrics and plan of activities, etc. here so that it will help fellow newbie webmasters. They can learn from my mistakes and get inspired from my achievements.

Moreover it will be motivating factor for me to keep track of the work and share experience here. So here I go -

Domain Registered
I registered this domain name on 2nd Jan 2022 (I wanted to register it on 1st Jan, but I just happened to have missed it ) The website was actually made LIVE in the month of Feb 2022.

What is the niche?
The domain belongs to the niche of "Law of Attraction"

Hosting and Platform
Greengeeks shared hosting plan and Wordpress (offcourse )

Theme and Plugins
Free Generatepress theme.

What about content?
I got over 60 good quality keyword rich articles written by an expert writer for this project.

Google Adsense Approval
The site is approved by Google Adsense on 3rd March 2022 (Within 2 month of the launch)

It should be noted that I have not done any kind of SEO or online marketing activity in this website. Not even the onpage SEO! Still the site is showing growth in traffic for 3 months. So I have decided to start doing some SEO (onsite and offsite) for this website and observe the result.

You will notice that the majority of the traffic is from the United States for the above period. Average session duration is also above 1 minute and bounce rate is in 80's - which is common for most of the sites.

I have not yet created any social media accounts for this site too.

I will be interested to see, if I perform SEO on this site then can I take the sites traffic beyond 500 users a month?

Thank you for wishes. Yes I registered this domain on 2nd Jan 2022 and the adsense approval came on 3rd March 2022 So the domain was 2 months old.

I built the site in the first week of Feb 2022 so practically the website was only one month old.

-------------- Update #1 -------------------
So it's been 9 days now since I started this journey of activities on my fresh website. Till date I have uploaded 62 original posts in the website. Some posts are 2000 words while some are 1500 so it's a mix of various lengths.

However I noticed that Google is not crawling my site frequently. So I have started submitting the url's manually in Google Search Console.

I was able to upload posts in my site only and I was not able to do any backlinking activity yet. The traffic looks like going at the same rate as last month. I have not kept any target for traffic this month as I will only be uploading content and no marketing at all.

I installed a new theme from mythemeshop dot com. I also plan to have a Forum in my website. So I installed bbpress as of now. Once I will finish uploading 100 posts that I have in hand, I will start with forum developing and backlink building.

Stay tuned guys, I will keep on updating what happens in this journey.

Friends, it's a 1st day of June and here is an update on the activities and results for the month of May 2022.

The organic users have increased from 120 (April) to 156 (May).

I have not created any social media accounts yet. No backlink building at all in April. All I could do was uploading unique original articles in May. So the total article counts have become 80. Last month I had installed a forum software bbpress, but I did not do any activity with it.

Adsense Revenue earned in May 2022 - $0.57

This month (June 2022) I have planned below activities for this site -
1) Creating social media accounts and share content.
2) Put some good content in Forums.

I can not begin with backlink building yet due to lack of time. So these will be minimum activities I will be performing this month.
