Shared vs WordPress Hosting For Creating a Blog ?

I would like to know what's the main differences between the shared and wordPress hosting.

Shared hosting basically means just that, shared. Basically your hosting provider will give you access to a hosting panel with which you can deploy your site with. This panel will be running on a dedicated server.
And your website will be sharing resources along other sites that are hosted on this server.

Think of your Windows PC at home. You can have multiple user accounts on the same pc. It's kinda like that. The websites are the users in shared hosting.

Only difference, all the websites are running at the same time and they are all sharing the same resources.

"Wordpress Hosting" basically means a virtual private server (vps) that is managed by your hosting provider. So, instead of sharing the resources, you now have dedicated compute resources (CPU cores, ram etc) for your website (even tho it's virtualized).

What is the best option depends on what you are doing. If you are running a smallish site with minimal traffic then shared hosting should be enough.

Well, there are tons of web hosts offering shared hosting solutions with wordpress installation.
What is your monthly bugdet? What server location do you prefer?

Are you sure that wordpress hosting is equal to VPS ?

Wordpress hosting is a type/form of shared hosting optimised specifically for WordPress sites.

To choose the right hosting you need to see the specs... I might be wrong but with WP hosting you don't get cPanel.

It usually is. Tho, it can be shared hosting too.

Also, even if it's a vps, you often won't have root access to use it. That way, your hosting provider can stack on multiple sites in a single vps.

Wordpress hosting just means, they "optimized" it to work better for wordpress really.
It can be either Shared Hosting or, Cloud, VPS or anything inbetween.
You would have to check company per company for it.

A lot of wordpress hosting already has cpanel and other things useful to wordpress included.
Whereas with VPS you might need to install these yourself and possibly purchase them separately.

Wordpress hosting account is a kind of account which is optimized for certain web application. In your case it is WordPress. I'm sure that vast majority of web hosting providers do support that web application.
If you start your adventure only that is better to do that with shared account.

Just use any good shared hosting and you will be good. I've not used any wordpress hosting so I don't know what they provide but it is no great stuff. I believe they have some speed and DB optimization tools to help your WordPress stable and fast. I use @DamoHG hostgnome.com which provide shared hosting with Litespeed server which increase speed of your web greatly, Most shared doesn't have it and Most people dont know about it. Instead of Fancy Wordpress hosting, Just use any Reliable good shared host with litespeed server and for any other optimization you can just use plugin like WP rocket and other plugins. I have 100 /100 pagespeed score of my wordpress site with shared hosting at hostgnome.com.

Yes most of times are VPS based or dedicated servers based, depending of the price.
In last case can be shared but which limited users to avoid too much usage.

Wordpress Hosting is just a MARKETING TRICK, you can buy more cheap with Unmanaged VPS, if you don't have skills use Udemy courses for it or Youtube have MANY BUT MANY FREE tutorials and guides how to install control panel in VPS, managing etc..

You can learn by yourself without zero costs, if you want to learn more fast then Udemy or online courses will be good.
Keep in mind that isn't hard. I recommend Ubuntu or Debian to start in my opinion is the best OS to learn.

Shared hosting is more cost effective and easier to set up, but it does not offer the same level of customization as WordPress hosting. WordPress hosting provides more control and customization over your website, but it is more expensive and may require more technical knowledge to set up.
