Several Micro-Niche Sites Or One Authority Site For Adsen$e? ?

Hi all,

I've just stumbled upon a low competition niche and collected around 75 keywords that are high CPC with moderate search volume and low competition.

I reckon I can rank these pretty quickly with superior on-page and SEO and a few high quality links and intend to monetize primarily with adsense and possibly amazon.

I can't decide whether to group the keywords into related subsections and build 6-7 sites targeting around 10-12 keywords each or just build one big site around the general niche with the aim of becoming an authority. There are several established authorities in this niche but they're not particularly targeting the long tails I've discovered. Hmm, what to do?? This is the first time I've actually got more keywords than I know what to do with, hence the indecisiveness...!

Google seems to be favoring larger sites recently, over the past year I have been moving to fewer larger sites with a fair amount of success. I would recommend the larger site. I would also build it with the thought that once you get all your long tails ranked you can go after some of the main keywords, I have found that already having a number of long tails ranked makes getting the higher traffic main keywords much easier.

Authority sites - if a possibility - are much stronger and have much more potential. Once you have authority you will have an easier time ranking for future keywords.

MNS does not have life, because google keeps updating and you dont know when they are going to throw your site. you have better chance with authority site to have stable income.
All my MNS down now, so now i am going to make a authority site

Make 1 authority site and target all the keywords on that 1. Its not even a choice, bigger authority sites are always safer and better if you have the money to grow the site and rank lots of keywords

go for one site with all the Kws will save you time and money in the long run

Go for authority site, it will take sometime to rank, but its worth it. With good content, onpage seo and quality backlinks you can get there soon!

One site. Easier to manage and costs less.

Build an authority site and a few "quasi authority" sites that point to your authority site but not each other, Host the authority site on a different hosting account, Make the quasi sites so they cover a category of the authority site. Build links to the quasi sites.
