Setup your own Mobile 3G/4G Rotating Proxy with your Android Phone

Do you run your campaigns on remote vps or directly from your pc?

Hi,

This works perfectly if you are not running your campaigns on a remote VPS. If you just run them on your home pc and you have an Android Phone with a 3G/4G connection, then you do not need to buy Backconnect rotating proxies, you can set them up yourself.:)

First you will need an Android phone (rooted preferred).

You will also need to install Tasker from the Google playstore.

If your phone is not rooted, then you will need another app called Autoinput. As it is more complicated for a non rooted device, I will only focus here on the setup for a rooted Android phone. Anything from Android Kitkat 4.4 will do.

The principle is simple. For 3G and some 4G networks, each time you disconnect from the network and reconnect, you are assigned a fresh ip - ip rotation. So all you need to do, is to tether your PC to your phone internet through the phone's hotspot feature, and automate turning off the mobile connection and turning it on again at your desired interval using Tasker. It works perfectly for just about anything that needs rotating ips for at least 30 seconds+ rotating interval.
On my next post I will share a small nifty Tasker script to help you get started...but if you can do Tasker on your own, you should be able to get running before my next post.

You can adjust your settings accordingly ie: increase or decrease the switching interval (Action 4) , or increase/decrease the switching time (Action 2) as the need arises.

When you are set and your PC is already tethered to the phones hotspot, just press the play button at the bottom of screenshot and voila, your rotating ips become available.

Edit your script and set it Turn on Airplane Mode OFF then ON
Guaranteed new ip


As Nawtyboy pointed out, if you choose to switch on and off the Airplane mode, the hotspot will be affected. Not that it wont work, but it might throw up other problems for your program.

You can also increase your ip pool by using a multiple sim Android phone and switching between sims with your script.

You can also tweak the script and set it up so you never repeat an ip for a specific amount of time - but thats a whole lot more complicated to setup. This one is good enough for most people in m6 opinion.

I was looking at some vps on lowendtalk, Im trying to keep it cheap but I hear that many lowend vps have blacklisted ip, does it matter for this?

Nice.. though pretty complicated. I use a similar setup for my mobile proxies accessible remotely..
 
i feel like multiple scheme accounts with amazon aws is geting banned

Wow great tutorial thanks. Sorry to be a newby but can someone please explain what the benefit of rotating the IP is? Im gathering it's so the social platform (instagram for example) won't link too many accounts to just one IP? How many social accounts could you connect to something like this?
Would anyone have any tips on how to setup jarvee or similar to take advantage and work best with this setup?
I've just spent hours researching this so thank you very much for sharing everything so far.

IG runs in many countries on mainly mobile ips and mobile ips are shared... ip to user ratio could get as high as 1:30 or even 1:50 meaning theoretically that you could get away 15 to 20 accounts per ip. Since mobile ips are always different each time a user connects, IG does not expect to always see the same ip, so you are able to safely fly under the radar. The only thing is figuring out the actual density of IG users per ip per network --trial and error will give you that average figure because that will likely be a benchmark that their servers will use in detecting excessive activity per ip.

Youu set up your bot as normal, only you direct traffic through your proxy. Your bot, Jarvee or which ever has no role to play in the proxy.. the proxy works on its own, your bot works on its own.

Ok so I tried this successfully on one phone with a 4G sim. I had to enable Airplane mode / on / off rather than Data as it wasn't creating a new IP otherwise.
I ran this for 2 days on 6 accounts - with another 5 accounts still using data proxy (all on the one private machine).
I ran into two problems -
1. The accounts were only managing to follow/unfollow a percentage of what they were supposed to (set at 500f/u only managing 50%)
Is this perhaps to do wih a limit to how many requests you can squeeze through on a sim and a phone?
2. Perhaps I got to Rambo when I ramped up my settings, as got like blocks on all the accounts that were going through the phone. The ones still running through a proxy were fine, but possibly because I left the settings moderate.

So for now I've switched back to regular old highproxies - be cool to figure this out though.

But lets keep discussing this hopefully we can come up with a cool, local setup that works for everyone!

Please let us know how you can tether a few phones at once to the one PC? I've seen you can do this but how do you assign data to individual phones? Or do you combine them somehow?
