SEO with tumblr blogs only [Casestudy]

Hello, i want to show my SEO casestudy that i started 2 weeks ago.
I found expired tumblr accounts with PR and PA above 3. Regsitered them and wrote 1 spinned article on them with my link and keyword. These blogs were about 4 - PR4 and 1- PR3 . Then i bought 10 PR1 and did the same thing.
The blogs are at all 15. Then i start waiting.
One by one the blogs got indexed and the results are amazing.

When bloggers decide to delete their blog from tumblr, tumblr will make the blog username available for registration.
This means that not all 404 blogs are available for registration, as blogs that have been banned by tumblr for spam are never made available for registration (you can imagine why).
 
I scrape them with scrapebox then filter them and register them :)
 
Do you use HideMyAss to post to different tumblr blogs?
 
I bet the keyword is low comp.

Honestly I don't see much results from tumblr blogs unless I use around 50.

I go after at least medium comp keywords.

Expired tumblrs are great to add to your overall SEO campaign but I wouldn't hang my hat on them.
 
I am using the Tumblr to get backlinks to my main site and waiting to get the results. The page I am linking to has gone off the charts and is nowhere to be found. Its just the Google Dance, I assume. Hope it comes back at higher positions.
Tumblr Blogs really help!
 
nice one, I've been using 100s as tier 2. Love them as they don't really need much content
 
I've also had good results with expired tumblrs but it looks dodgy if you only use tumblrs. I'm thinking of boosting my pbn with them though...

Right here. If you made a pbn and added around 3-5 links, you would have seen way better SERP increases.

1. ScrapeBox for blogs scraping
2. ScrapeBox alive checker to get the dead ones
3. Check the PR with ScrapeBox
4. Moz API to get the PA
5. Last, Custom tool to check the availability, you can also do that manually

Great study!
I got few free ones from The SEO, and i'm currently filling them with content, and will try them out for sure!
One question OP, how competitive is your kw? For example semrush's kd percentage?
