SEO Link Building

Hey!

How are you all. I want to ask something that I am working on client project for SEO its technical support site. But for being my first SEO project I am working on it. I worked and many by many keywords my site starts ranking on first page.

May be just because of low competition, but soon my site is ranked on first page. Now I targeted high competition keyword and my site is still on second page even after many days just on bing.

Site is stable not moving up nor down. I analysed competitor's site, searched backlinks and submitted site there as well. Am working on two keywords from around a month and still unable to rank it on first page.

I have to rank the site on first page so as I have something to show to my client that I worked on it.

It's completely white hat SEO submission am doing. Is there anything I can do make my way on first page of search engine ( may be google or bing).

What have you done so far. There is much that you can do, starting with Web 2.0, Social Signals and linkbuilding from relevant sites.
 
Focus on creating a high quality content related to your niche,follow the link building steps and get quality back links from an authority site.
Though you having the high competitive keyword use social networking sites will helps to get high ranking.
Make an index or directory of links (to other pages on your site or around the web),Create a meta tags which could gives the viewers about an info of your site.

I submitted site to various directory submission sites, social bookmarking, classified submission, article submission, blog posting, blog commenting, guest book posting, video posting, ppt posting, fb promotion, sharing page link to various groups. May be I missed some points but basically am did all this. May be I missed some.
 
You need to be patience because the highly competitive keywords are taking some time to show up in the results. If all your links are getting indexed by google then it shows up in ranking, also the proper on page SEO will be the key role in the SERP results of your targeted keywords. Focus on the lengthy contents for your targeted keywords also the good way to get results.
 
Content is must because relevancy also get into ranking,Some of my keywords ranked i don't know the reason am still research to figure it out.
 
The stuff you have done so far is quite low quality. You will need to increase the quality of your Tier 1links.

its my competitor's back link who is appearing on first page of search engine.

directory approval take time, may be if some of my links are approved then may be I will move up on search ranking....

currently my site is on 3rd page on google and 2nd page on bing
when I started working on this keyword am no where in the search result, but from past few days my ranking is still, even after regular submission.

may be crawlers while crawling your website found something unique and ranked you website according to that...
 
High competitive keywords usually take time to show up in the search results. Also, you need to be patient till G considers your backlink and improves the ranking. Focus on publishing high-quality articles regularly and share them on social media platforms. Getting niche relevant backlinks will also work for you.

Fine, you can wait for some time to the directory approval meantime don't leave to build your backlinks.

Is completely unique content important these days when people are searching for specific terms? I'm not talking about spun content, but rather talking about new topics.

according to current algo AFAIK its important to have a unique content to attract search engine, its not necessary to have absolute new topics or just a outside the box thinking, its good when you post such content but not necessary.....

sure i am working on it, one thing I want to confirm that,

blog posting makes backlinks? not depening whether they are approved or not....or just approved comments make backlinks...?
 
What have you done so for for your siteto ranked it first page of google? there are many SEO technique to follow to get ranked high in Google. Content has lot of importance and your content should be unique and SEO friendly. Also you can use web2.0 sites,social media sites,linkbuilding stratigies also.
