Well, As all know 2012 is few steps away....So 2011 was Panda Year..and I saw many Good and Bad days in 2011...It was a Good year..
My Question is Simple!!
What is the Future of SEO in 2012?
Will Panda Kill SEO?
Will Panda Die?
Will Social Era is here? As All now a days using facebook..many not do searches like they do in past years in Google..?
Or nothing Change in SEO field..

Also, can share what you desire for 2012? Means What is your Goal for 2012?

Many of the changes will seen in seo . social media also develop the height of SEO in 2012 for sure . This is common phenomena year by year

BTW , Advance happy new year to safex

GOAL : Making a Consitent Income .

Google will as usual sprout on about giving their users more quality content, roll out some algorithm that discredits all backlinks for everyones websites and called it something stupid like the 'Giraffe Update'.

GOAL=Make consistent money

hahahaha Giraffe update.. thanks for that. :nana:

As for goals, yeah, I'd like to get about 50 micro niche sites set up and managed making a passive income. Honestly I think that's the goal I'm heading for strongest at the moment. It seems like the most passive income possible. :)

Tbh, think about it logically...
Google's customers are the people who use it day to day. And Google will only want to help the, find better results.
Ok, let's look at 2 major websites:
eBay and Youtube...
eBay has gone very biased to BIG sellers, because buyers trust them more
Youtube has changed their layouts to benefit the large producers...

Google will follow. They will benefit LARGE authority websites, with deep linking, popular 2.0 websites and BIG information websites. I think MNS will begin to die out.

So, I'd make your MNS into ANS (Authority niche sites).

Anyone agree?

My forecast:

Google seo.
Backlinks will be vanished as very important search ranking factor (it will be devalued to to the point where it's importance is like on-site seo). Instead they will increase importance of text index. Which would go to other google "trend" - Google alerts. I think that building fresh topical content will be key for success. If you will target keywords without "fresh" attribute - you will rank them with "fresh" content indexing.

Trends for blackhat.
Spinnable content (spinned sentences and then atleast 50% spinned words in them), investing time for best results.
Outsourcing keywords.
Outsourcing tools via VPS.
Making satellite pages and then blasting them with tools with slow indexing.
Making it even more expensive/same result as at 2012 we will have even more players in SEO field.

And of course,
reputation management as offline-online ventures will be really worthy with all kinds of businesses. Topic is getting popular.

I'd also say, bounce rate it something obvious.
If Google sees that visitors are finding nothing useful on your website, they leave very quickly, Google does not want low quality websites.

I dont think any thing will change in 2012 it will be like 2011 Rest time will show my goals will be to bank lot of money in 2012 using easy and medium keyword competition and also selling some services
Happy New Year to All in Advance

Google is trying to make itself able to "read" I believe and will eventually be able to tell gibberish from actual english to a higher degree. So I'd spend more time spinning WELL. That is my MAIN prediction. Beware of it.

The google Panda update was named by the google engineer Navneet Panda that created the algorithm update. It's not just a stupid name like you call it

Google will seek to eliminate badly spun content and ensure that the top ranking websites are of a good quality. They shall update their algorithm to promote sites that provide more to the user.

Black Hat methods will probably have to adapt to the changes, less importance will be placed on backlinks. Social Networking could play a big part as well, initial case studies reveal that Google +1's have an impact in the rankings.

It was Biswanath Panda... not Navneet Panda...

It would also seem logical that the importance of links may be something...

I don't know how Google works...

But... If Google can track how many times a link is clicked, I would assume that it would give it more 'importance'.. These links are obviously placed to give users good content.. This may be something to think about.

I do not know how Google works in 2012, but hopefully we can succeed in any business in 2012, good luck all

According to Dan Theis (link Liberation).. in 2012 PANDA can be applied to the backlinks as well which means they can go after the spun content on other sites pointing to yours. Google has the capability to track the spun content and it will be just an engineering decision as when they would apply it next year.

Off-topic:
I have 3 year-old domain sitting on the first page of G -dancing #1-5 since the beginning of Feb.The last thing i did was 250k SB blast and nothing more...
Reason for staying on the TOP-AUTHORITY and QUALITY content!
I would say leave the BH SEO after you do all the traditional WH SEO and don't go mad at first...always have a strategy for diversifying your campaign/this is where most guys FAIL big time/

social will play much more role in 2012 SEO

and more panda updates for sure :D
