SEO for Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform

Hello guys,

I am currently working on the SEO of a cryptocurrency/digital exchange platform. I have prepared an On-page report of what should be done, however I am having a problem with the link building strategy.

What would your approach be for building links to a website in the cryptocurrency niche and ranking it on Google?

I am using Ahrefs to analyze the competitor's backlinks and find opportunities this way but I was wondering what else would you do to rank a website in this niche?

Guest posting and Press release in crypto niche sites. You can use scrapebox to automate the outreach part to 100s of sites simultaneously and then reply one by one once you receive the response from them. I did the same for another niche and it works like a charm.

I haven't used it mate, because I am focusing mainly on white hat seo. However I did not find any information for cryptocurrency link building and I decided I would ask here.

Hi

Cryptocurrency is a bit of a "hot" niche right now and links in that neighbourhood are quickly marked as spam in the Google algorithms. Your best bet would be to have your articles with backlinks published on a legitimate financial investment site. Write guestposts about investing in crypto, or have someone write them for you, and submit to high authority sites in the general financial niche (avoiding the cryptocurrency ghetto) and create backlinks that way.

That should do good for your SEO for a start.

If it's in your skillset/budget you could try creating a tool for the crypto market (currency exchange, top crypto list) that people in the community would want to link to.

Try to contact bloggers in this niche and get posts made on their site. Will give you higher rank and some users both at same time.
