If you have your own dedicated IP address, can you use it to send HTML emails directly from your own server?

For example you can use something like Mailchimp to send newsletters.

But is there a software I can just install to my server and send emails from my server for free?

you will find many scripts to send emails but configuring them is something you should know.
mailwizz, sendy , bulk emailer ETC.,

Ofcourse you can send it but dont ignore other settings like DKIM,SPF,DMARC and rDNS to hit Inbox

to answer your question yes you can send emails from your server. Depending on how many you are trying to send you may want to look at adding something to it like mailchannels to help protect your IP from getting black listed.
