A self-hosted server is the best way. After the initial setup costs and warm-up periods its about $35 a month to send 100K emails.
Would OP need proxies?500-1000 emails/day it's not a huge number. You can easily achieve 1k/day by using an automation and some Gmail accounts
AWS SES still profitable? We have not had much luck the last 6 mo. Think mails going straight to spam.If you’ve got properly warmed SMTPs you can git close to 90% inbox rate using AWS SES. I’ve been consistently warming domains using it myself.
There are much cheaper options. I suggest you to search for tutorials here on BHW using search function. Those who are sending 500-1000 of cold emails per day how are you managing to get that huge number of emails?
I see tools like findymail which costs $99 for 5000 emails or 15000 for $250 and 30k email for $400
Another tool is anymailfinder, has multiple plans the 25k emails for $300
So if I want to send 500-1000 emails per day are you buying these credits or are there other cost effective ways to get volume of emails other than those tools?

what do you use for warmup?A self-hosted server is the best way. After the initial setup costs and warm-up periods its about $35 a month to send 100K emails.
Find a group in the same space you can warm up your emails for each other for free. You create a warm up list, which you send the email to from your server, then you open each others emails and reply daily for a week. 20-30 people is finewhat do you use for warmup?
