Which groupbuy do you use?
 
Kwfinder could be a cheaper alternative. Much simpler since you're looking out for just kws.
 
I would say go for AHREF i think ahref is best seo tool ever if you know how to use it properly
 
Both are good tools. It depends on your need, if I need keywords generator I would go with a hrefs
 
Been a big fan of Ahrefs for a long time but Semrush has been growing on me a lot. I just find plan wise you get more bang for your buck with Semrush.

Should we worry about something while using group buy services (apart from the unethical part)? I don't see anyone recommending these services in this forum. I am a newbie and would like to know if I missing out something.

You´re NOT missing anything. Most of those services are crap and, there are some that are crap but it´s because they don´t manage their subscription properly and, the one who do, have many limitations in place in regards to the amount of keyword searchers and domains you can run daily there.

My advice is that, if you can afford $28 per month on THE BEST ALL AROUND SEO TOOL ON THE MARKET, then do it!

Take advantage of their $7 7 day trial promotion. You can create as many as you want but using a different email and you will have full access to Ahrefs without any downtime or crazy limitations. I am myself on my 3rd $7 trial period and the difference is huuuge.

did you use the same vcc ?
 
I have used both and I like Semrush better. but there's no big difference between them.
 
Kwfinder finde more keywords In autosuggestion as ahref
When you need the best keyword tool go to kwfinder or allintitle.co
Here you find many suggestion that you dont find in ahref
