SEMRUSH VS AHREFS FOR KEYWROD RESEARCH

Ahrefs will be good

As someone who runs a keyword research service and works with thousands of keywords daily, if I could only pick one it would be Ahrefs.

SEMrush is great and in many ways I think beats Ahrefs. Their keyword index I find is much bigger and search volume somewhat more accurate for certain niches. I also much prefer their filtering options, it's a small feature but when you're going through thousands of keywords daily it saves heaps of time. For example Ahrefs just has an include and exclude filter, whereas SEMrush is more like Excel. You can choose include/exclude and also useful stuff like begins with, ends with or contains etc. Additionally the biggest annoyance I have with Ahrefs is limits on data. Which is mainly how many rows you can export at once and only seeing keywords for a site between certain SERP positions. For the same price, with SEMrush I get more keywords in their database and a lot less restrictions.

However, Ahrefs suite of tools are one of the best in the Industry, their site explorer etc. Is excellent and their KD score I like the best as it doesn't mess around with 3rd party metrics too much like DA, TF etc. But instead focuses on refering domains/backlinks. It can be a useful starting filter. That said it can be very inaccurate at times. Another thing I like about Ahrefs is I can have a big list of keywords and open up SERP preview and take a quick look at search intent and refering domains/backlinks etc. Which is great for quickly filtering through keywords.

I suggest Semush for keyword research.

Buy ahrefs from group buy, they have more data and frequently updated than the semrush.

Both are great tools but, my vote will go to Ahrefs.

If your main focus is keyword research and you´re on a budget and would like to stay away from SEO Group Buy Tools then, you should consider checking KWFinder.

Ahrefs is THE best ALL-IN-ONE SEO tool on the market today. The learning curve is a bit steeper in comparison with SEMRush but, trust me, it is more than worth it.

Another added value to Ahrefs is that they have some of the best articles (on their blog) and tutorials (on their YouTube Channel) you can leverage to get the max out of the software.

I like ahref but don't use the kw difficulty score.

That is only guide not a green light

I can't remember the kw but it something like cheap flights.

It gave it a low score

I think Ahrefs has two important unique features Keyword explorer and organic keywords and also rank tracking is much better as well as in-depth look into backlinks and search traffic.

Both were good but I prefer ahrefs

Both are the good tools for organic search, but I use Ahrefs.

I am going to choose SemRush. Because I have heard good reviews about its keyword difficulty.

Like my site is new, I need a lot of good content and explore new long tails. Then I think my best choice is SemRush. However, Ahrefs, in my opinion, is much better in general settings, like backlinks. Bt its keyword difficulty score is very light.

I use Ahrefs. But you can also use the Semrush trial and pick some keywords for a month or two, use them on the website and then reconsider on a subscription afterwards.

Both are equally good in their respective areas. I would suggest you to try out $7 Ahrefs trial and free 30 days Semrush trial and compare both tools yourself.

Both tools are top of the line, with their own strengths and weaknesses.
If you take the time to learn Ahrefs, you will realize that it actually has an excellent interface that you can use to filter exactly what you need. On the other hand, their database is not the best, and you can sometimes stumble upon something blatantly inaccurate. As some users have already pointed out, keyword difficulty is the service’s Achilles’ heel.
SEMrush is an overall more accurate and reliable tool, but it can be a pain to use. No matter what you’re looking for, be prepared to trudge through a lot of clutter before you find it.
All in all, both services will give you a trial. Take them for a test run and see which one you prefer. You can’t really go wrong with either one.

I checked their site and their uptimes kinda low. 58% for ahrefs, 21% for Semrsuh.

Both tools are good, it depends on how you make it useful.

Both are best, but my choice is SEMrush...

Why don't you try group buy tools? you will get semrush and ahrefs also more tools at cheap pricing. It will be more than enough for researching for a single website.
