SEMRUSH VS AHREFS FOR KEYWROD RESEARCH

Currently looking into which SEO tool to be used for keyworard research. Ahrefs seems quite expensive, specially for me starting out. A group buy seems to be the way to go at the moment after the 7 day trial.

Ahrefs is typically a little simpler to use than SEMrush and gives you more 'at-a-glance' knowledge. It gives a useful estimate of how many backlinks you will need to rank for a specific keyword.
 
I would suggest SEMRush or else you can go for some free version tools.
 
I am using Ahrefs tools from the last 2 years so I would suggest Ahrefs tools but you can use Semrush also. actually both tools are good.
 
if you don`t have money, go with semrush $1 for 7 days if you want big database go with ahrefs $7 for 7 days.
 
Ahrefs is pretty cool, also has a huge database. so my choice is ahrefs.
 
SEMrush comes with more features than Ahrefs. Therefore, power users out there and the professional online marketers are more likely to appreciate SEMrush than Ahrefs.
 
If link building and backlink analysis are top priority for you right now, then go with Ahrefs. But if you value keyword research, technical SEO, and content marketing over link building, then SEMrush is a better choice
