Has anyone ever tried to use scrapebox/xrumer blasts to build a higher ranking in Google/get more sales for an amazon product that may be hard to rank for (or just for the hell of it)? Just a thought that came to me.... hope it doesn't sound foolish. Would like to know if this has been done before or what people think about this idea? :o

If you meant running random xrumer and SB blast to drive traffic then I don't think that's a good idea because you need a very targeted traffic to convert when using amazon. a random traffic might not do well (adsense might perform better). If you are referring to undergo SEO using SB and xrumer alone, I still think that's not enough nowadays especially if you are targetting hard to rank keywords, you need a high PR quality links to push your site on those kind of level

All the time. Blasting is a part of my SEO strategy, but not the only one.

To give my full story, I've been looking at a lot of webinars lately about making $$$ on amazon by creating kindle books and your own amazon products. Amazon is obviously a high ranking, top site on the internet that gets millions of viewers a day. And by creating products/kindle books with names that match good keywords with monthly searches that have about no more than 100,000 or Couple 100k you can tap into $$$ on amazon. Based on the webinars I've looked at. Now I've looked at some keywords that gets lots and lots of searches (several hundred to millions of monthly searches) and wondered if it would be possible to use sb/xrumer blasts to get your amazon product to rank well in google.

And to WildJoe what other tips/strategies do you have besides blasts?

I have tried Fax blasting, Email blasting, and in my opinion anything with Blasting in the name is probably not a good marketing solution.

what's a fax blast? and yeah I wouldn't want to do an email blast unless I had a group of targeted subscribers. Random email blasts are hardly ever good based on what I've heard.

Has anyone ever actually tried this? It would be a swell laid plan, if you could find your own niche to dominate. Then just bee line your links all over the place.
