Hi,

I just upgraded to Big Sur OS on my Mac and I can´t open ScrapeBox anymore (bought the license yesterday lol). Does anyone here know if it is possible to have Scrapebox on Big Sur OS (Mac)?

Thanks

I would assume that if it doesn't work, it doesn't work and you will need to wait for an update. You really should be running it on a Windows VPS anyway.

I wonder if it has something to do with the new mac os stopping the support for none core apps or something (not sure what they call those apps).

An alternative would be to fire up a windows vm within mac, but it's not really a very elegant one.

You need the Mac version of SB to run it on a Mac unless you are using something like parallels.

Edit; just realized you upgraded the OS on your Mac. Hit up @Sweetfunny or post in the sales thread - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/scrapebox-the-ultimate-serp-scraper-auto-blog-commenter-with-prstorm-mode.129096/ and you'll get answers I am sure.

Thanks. I just posted in that thread as well. I have also sent a support email to them so hopefully I will hear back soon.

You're in for a world of pain with that OS X update.

Worse than Windows updates sometimes... that is one of them.

Forget your pass to your Mac? Expect to join the circus to reset it sometimes.

Mac a nightmare if you lose main bios password you need to take the bios chip out put a fresh copy of bios softwhere on the chip with a chip programmer.

Nightmare .

Some people also call it security. I guess it depends.

Scrapebox does not currently work on Big Sur. Embarcadero is the company that owns the programing language and they are working to make their compiler compatible with Big Sur, there is no guaranteed ETA but as soon as Embarcadero makes delphi/firemonkey compatible with big sur then scrapebox will recompile it and it will work.

again no ETA, but it will come.

Gosh. OK...have to wait I guess.....

Out of interest, whilst I am in a waiting mode, could I get the Windows license to worked on a nulled Windows OS and parallels or is that just asking for trouble? I'm just conscious of the time to set this all up and what I need to do...

If you have a windows license then yes it will work on parallels. There are still thousands of mac users to this day that use scrapebox on parallels.

Scrapebox does work on BIG SUR now, it has for the past couple/few weeks. Just make sure you are using the latest version.

Getting a Windown vps would still be the best option for hassle-free work

Is there any downside to running in in a virtual machine ?
Any downside to running scrapebox in a virtual machine on mac?

In general, no, many people do it. So long as you have it configured properly and the VM is not blocking scrapeboxes access to the internet etc..

If that's a seo related tool, I would choose a VPS or at least a good windows pc.
