Hello BHW! I was using ScrapeBox nice and easy. I installed the Email Scraper Premium plugin and had some problems, so I decided to reinstall SB. The new plugin works nice, but almost all my engines (except for Bing and two or three more) are getting this error "-1 Could Not load SSL library" so, can't scrape a thing ATM. Any suggestions?

I've read a loopline response here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...menter-with-prstorm-mode.129096/post-11100472 but it seems a Windows solution, not Mac (I can't find those files, even inside the app package).

Thanks!

I ve been reinstallating it 5 times but the problem is still the same, i m getting could not load from SSL. Have you find a way to fix it on your side ?

I have no idea of what I am aboit to say because I have absolutely no knowledge of coding in Delphi. But I am suspecting a pattern here:

I have a theory: those libraries are beign blocked by osx Gatekeeper? or something like that ...
So, no news at all: gatekeeper is the setting to install and run any program downloaded feom internet on system settings ...

When you install it, sometimes the version you download is not the latest version. So are you able to click the "update" button on the right hand side of scrapebox?

My mac install isn't working at the moment I need to fix it, but I know ssl has worked fine on mac in the past, for multiple years now.

Installed SB for the 5th time using the UPDATE button. No changes at all: same error. Any other suggestion?

Reinstalling, whitelisting, downloading from the web, then from the soft itself, deleting everything again and again, going back to factory settings and all of its variations are the answers I got from support. What should I do? Format my computer? Buy a new Mac?

Each support answer has a delay of 24 hs ... and sometimes I got indications for Windows users of items that are not on the Mac version. I've sent them logs, screenshots of each and every error. I don't know what more information I can give them to tackle the real problem.

The weird thing is that first day harvesting gave me no problem at all, but after I reinstalled SB to fix the Email Plugin problem then this SSL library problem started.

I invested like 10 hours reading official and unofficial SB FAQs, forums and reinstalling SB last 4 days, just to solve this situation. I am feeling very frustrated now. And it seems like I am not the only one dealing with it, as @AntonioJF is in the same boat.

I have a lot of hope in Scrapebox because it seems like a great tool, but I can´t even start to use it jet.

Hi, i m waiting for answers from SB. I ll keep you in touch when i have fresh news

I continue to try every solution at my hand and what I can think of:
  • I manually reviewed all the files and folders with the creation date of SB first installation (the only soft I installed this week) and deleted them one by one all across the system.
  • I created a new user profile on my Mac to install a clean fresh version of ScrapeBox.
The problem persists. This is very very frustrating and I don't really feel that I am getting the support the situation requires.

OK, thanks for the info. We will take a look at it. The included openssl libs are optimized for macos monterey and it seems like they wont get loaded on an earlier macOS version.

Just in case, I already tried: Settings >> Harvester Engines Configuration >> Import >> Download Default Engines From Server.

BING, Google 24h, Google Week, Google Month, Google Year: are working.

Harvester engine error status:

WotBox, CommonSearch, Rapidfinder: nodename nor servname provided or not known.
Verizon.net, charter.net: 400 bad request.
TalkTalk: no links could be retrieved.
Similar: 301 http/1.1 301 temporary redirect.
WebCrawler: 307 http/1.1 307 temporary redirect.
MyWebSearch: -1 Read timed out.
All the rest engines (including Google and Yahoo): -1 Could Not load SSL library.

Thank you very much. The weird thing is that I manage to scrape results the first day with no problem. Everything crashed when I installed the Email Premium Plugin. After that I got the -1 library problem.
