ScrapeBox is... Alive!

So i was browsing here and saw a thread titled the owner has died or something to that effect. So when i transferred my license to a fresh system i thought i would ask. Seems you cant believe everything posted on the internet huh.

As for the BHW thread saying the owner is dead, no it's an intentionally fake thread it seems due to our sales thread being closed. We were told by BHW that Loopline (who's helped with ScrapeBox for about a decade, and makes ScrapeBox tutorial video's) was not allowed to respond helping anyone in the sales thread. Same with Softtouch who's been with ScrapeBox since the beginning despite all 3 of us having the required $97/yr each Jr VIP subscriptions and the $97/yr sales thread paid.

I contacted a moderator via PM regarding another issue but received no reply. Then some months later I was not receiving a working 2FA code sent so I could login to my account. I sent 3 emails via the BHW support/contact about having no access to my account and I did not receive any response to these emails either.

I believe the ScrapeBox sales thread is the largest thread on BHW and been running for close to 15 years, but I have not had anyone there reach out to me. So given the issues, the sales thread not contributing a lot to the overall sales of ScrapeBox and I have no access to my account I guess the sales thread will remain closed. However ScrapeBox, the addons and plugins will continue to receive updates, it's business as usual and we are working on some major new things.

That sounds pretty annoying. Loopline is a great member and we all know he is Scrapebox.

Why wasn't he allowed to answer for the service? I guess he was earning some money with the rest of the team

I don't even know that until now ...

That's sad to hear, hopefully they'll be able to deal business on BHW again. SB was one of the first Tools i've discovered on here.

Hi, this was posted by me not for Scrapebox support. It's an informative post in response to the one in SEO Tools wrongly saying the owner is dead when that is not true. I'm confused, why move my thread here and lock it but not the other one with the fake info?

I don't know the official answer there but my guess would be because partnerships need to be disclosed in the sales threads.

Members started assuming loopline was part of scrapebox staff and that creates problems on the forum.

Not that looplines help wasn't appreciated.

He's free to send another email to our support desk and I will personally deal with it.

this still work? I thought it is dead.

You know you can use python to scrape the Internet and store it in a csv file.

It's the golden age of data harvesting. And free too.

I haven't seen these emails myself, which is why I offered him that I look at them myself. I myself own a Scrapebox license and think it would be great if the owner would come back to the forum.

@Sweetfunny If you are reading this. I just checked the Support Desk for your tickets and I could only find 1 support ticket that was created 2 years ago (not related to any account issues). Couldn't find any emails from your original email address associated with the account. Have you noticed errors during transfer despite correct purchase data entered?

it was me who reported the thread abandoned as no1 from scrapebox
posted in there thread between April - Nov 2023, peoples questions
complaints went un answered for 7 months

And loopline who didnt even work for them spent hrs helping out
with tips/advice in there thread.... @loopline well done for trying

usually sales thread get locked after a few weeks of no show from the
seller - and its been a year since this thread was locked - and scrapebox
could have had there thread fixed via a market mod - but didnt.

I heard a rumor that sweets team sent in a few requests to bhw support
to repair there locked sales thread but where ignored --- the later part
of that statement i find hard to believe

bhw support are there to fix your issues because otherwise, no1 would
pay to be a vip seller is there was no support on bhw .

there Vip account is still active and they could have posted why they went
afk April 2023 but choose not to..........its now Nov 2024 and there vip
is still active but dormant since April 2023. all good things come to an end.

Never abandon your customers - if your retiring - tell people

I read the other thread claiming scrapebox was not authorizing licenses etc. I can confirm that scrapebox is still authorizing licenses and the owner is not dead. I got my license authorized on a dedicated server yesterday.

The seller has abandoned their presence on the forum for the most part and using others to run his support here is not permitted.

@loopline is a tremendous human and gives without expecting something in return but if SB wants to provide support on the forum it has to be done in their sales thread by the seller.

I bought scrapebox in 2010 wanted to use it again, not sure how to get back to this old program. i since upgraded my old PC. Any suggestion? i rememebr it helped a lot.
