sandboxIE usefull - and not

Its nice to use it on single exe's but what if you have to install a program then copy a crack over. Or if you have a prog that needs some project info and you want it to be used next time again.. once you close it, its all gone.

Would it be safe to install a prog without sboxie and then just sbox when opening the main exe? what is the best way to have software install properly and functioning but not mess up the machine??

Yep, It has it's own internal registry and hdd space. (Well afaik)

I'm not sure about that, but i tried with progs that need some data input, like directory submitters and it did not work. Maybe i will try installing in virtual desktop mode..

Ye you could just install a virtual pc, and save the clean install hdd somewhere.

VMware make a patition on your hard drive intall your OS. Total virtual machine.
