Ruined My First Site (I think)

First check all the tier 1 links you got to see if they are indexed, if they arent indexed then they could hardly have an impact upon your rankings.

Aren't web 2.0 links some of the easiest links to devalue/deindex by Google?

I'd imagine they're aware of what we're doing.

What's stopping them from simply ignoring/deindexing these links?

Anyone have their own thoughts on this?

If I start a web 20 service of my own then that would mean that Google will de-index my website just because it is a web 20. That is not how it works. They can de-index maybe your web20 sub-domain or page but they won't hit the whole service. Besides web 20 is a concept. You cannot de-index a concept.

And yeah those bookmarks are so useless. You might want to start a new website and let this site recover maybe or even forget about it.

The seller has no refund policy.I would ask for a refund.Instead of helping your rankings it clearly wasted your domain and time

Lol, welcome to the reality of BHW "quality links" services.

I've got a notepad file I've been building for almost 2 years with tested services, and even the good ones tend to get shitty after a while.

$15 is never a seo service. It is always some automated link building crap. But it is ok. Everyone makes mistakes and learn. Maybe try and build a new site and see if you can rank on 4th and 5th page.
anyways it's your luck with Google and mindset, I have a churn and burn website which I used the $5 plan on and it's ranking for longtail keywords easily on page 1 and main keyword on page 6-10 which is bad, although I have been trying to move the position, but all money spent on main keywords are not showing, so maybe google is not really on your side.

Wow that BST has 318 pages....it can't be all that bad...

Thanks for the replies everyone..

What I've done is disavowed everything except the videos. Now, I will leave it and hopefully it can recover. I have some other generic backlinks that I have left (domainstats, etc.) and maybe in a month I will start adding links from some manually-created, high quality web 2.0's. They will have filler content and will have scheduled posts for about 6 months.

I made a mistake by not reading the seller's advice properly, and not using common sense when reading all of those reviews, haha.

Anyways, I made a new site which will get indexed in a few days. Might make a journey thread for it. I will be much more carefull with backlinks this time! I'll use this as a learnig experience.

@Derridous You got the idea, fail, learn and earn.
However, if you were going to make a new site, you shouldn't have disavowed them, should of just converted him into a burn and churn site and get as much back as possible, before it gives in and just throw it away. :)

@bartosimpsonio
300+ pages of sample/coupon plz

+1 for this one. Never use one of those Fiverr type gigs for boosting SEO for your new money site(s). If you have, as evident here, then refrain from such gigs initially in the future.

You think they're fake requests? Even if it's coupon requests, that's still a popular BST.
I wouldn't go as far as saying fake request
probably legitimate request but many may/may not went through and ordered.

Honestly you just registered it a week, ago, you should start fresh with a new doman if you can afford it.

It seems like it would be less of a headache. Its not like you are losing much by getting rid of the few good links.

Also you need to be really careful, with a site only a week old (anything less than a month is brand new in googles eyes) sending a bunch of links is not the greatest idea unless they are a bit safer.

Read through it, a LOT of newbies posting order numbers! More order #s posted than coupon/same please, which is terrifying. From peeking through, some people order on average 2-3 packages a monthly and have since 2012... What must their site look like backlinks wise?

Think yourself as being awesome finding a keyword like that in the first place (if you new at the game). I would buy another domain, start again and don't touch fiverr with SEO packages ever again. Thank you lucky stars your lesson was learnt on a week old site and not a 6 month one. :)

i never got penalised nor deindexed for links even after firing directly to moneysite poorly configured gsa blast on chinese linkfarms. what u guys smoke

your site could have shitty onpage seo. the less overoptimized your onpage content is, the more crappy/spammy/overoptimized your backlinks can be without deindexing you.

also just put long articles to your backlinks and dont do backlinks that doesnt contain any words or below 500 (unless its social). Its not like all these link sources are uber shit, if they were uber shit they wouldnt even be indexed and your link wouldnt get indexed too = no influence. probably links or anchors or onpage seo was poorly done (or all).

ps that keyword difficulty thing is not perfect, if its below 10 and says no competition/low competition, you will still need (usually) at least 400 refering domains with contextual content, and correct onpage on your moneysite to rank.

and that they are N/A atm it doesnt mean that much. ive fired similar backlinks on every article on my domain 2 months ago and 10 of them are on first page now, two are N/A. difficulty is the same. but it doesnt mean that I got deindexed, because my domain is fine.

Do we have any proof that that service is to blame for some rank losses?

I just read another thread where someone said they ruined a site with X content. Then went on to say they had bought tons of trash links. That's a classic case of false causation. The links were probably the issue, not the content.

Good to hear you're still firing GSA on all cylinders and ranking...

Let me see if I got this right, if I underestimated my site, I can tolerate more spammy backlinks? Was that right?

So, 400 referring domains, giving only 500+ word contextual links for low/no completion, without any analysis needed, that is the MINIMUM number. Wow, never knew that...

We have no proof, or case studies, or really, even an OP anymore.
Since this service has been cited 2x for a ranking drop, AND in their sales thread has been claimed that nothing was indexed or even live, I am seriously confused myself.

I will update this thread if I see any changes in the rankings.

That being said, I have started the new site and am setting up all of the web 2.0's atm. I will be much more cautious with this one!
