Ruined My First Site (I think)

I've had a similar experience to scnonah who also made a thread about this.

I found a keyword with 14,000 searches and a MOZ keyword difficulty of 9.
I really thought I had hit a goldmine, and so immediatly bought a domain and hosting. I set up the website and decided I needed backlinks.

I was really excited by this opportunity, and so I bought the same backlink service as him (the $15 version, though), and my rankings have severly dropped. I know this is a brand new site (I did wait about a week after registering), and it might just be a google dance, but after just setting up the website, I was on page 4-5. Now, I'm not ranking for anything anymore...

I'm a beginner at seo and was enticed by the sound of the SEO package, but I think it has ruined my site. Here is a report on the backlinks from linkresearchtools (Free Trial)

(Only shows a couple as it is a free trial, there are more than 50 links in total.)

It basically tells how spammy the link is. As you can tell, most of the backlinks are not good quality.
Now I'm worried I've completely killed my website, and so I'm thinking of disavowing all of the links in Search Console.

Is this a good idea?
Should I disavow these links and manually create web 2.0's? <-- I think this is enough for me to be on the first page, as some websites on the first page don't even have a single backlink!

It is a CPA niche, btw.

The package you bought is great for tier 2 but not tier 1. Focus on high quality niche related tier 1 links. Send some social signals/bookmarks to the site and build some high quality web 2.0s (could outsource). Hopefully this will pick your rankings up.

Should the niche related tier 1 links have more than just the one article pointing to my site? I guess it's better to do so, but is it needed?

The more the better. Not sure on layout as I do amazon affiliate sites. I'd recommend outsourcing thus decreasing footprints save time and you'll get quality tiered web 2.0s

I have no idea about the other thread you mention. Which service was it? You got it here or Fiverr?
 
Disavowing all the links is not a good idea. Only remove the links which are dangerous. Also start building authority backlinks to stay on the top.
 
$15 is never a seo service. It is always some automated link building crap. But it is ok. Everyone makes mistakes and learn. Maybe try and build a new site and see if you can rank on 4th and 5th page.

Yeah, I'll try to do that. I'll have to look over all of the links manually.

$15 is too cheap so we can not expect more
Now I think just start to add some hq original contents to your site
And start to build some real backlinks
Leave the current ones alone

I don't know how i personally feel about it. Try building a new one and wait for a month before building any backlinks. And the first few ones should be very high quality ones. Try manual blog commenting or some web 20 links.

Are you sure I should leave them? It just seems they are a burden on my site.

Can you tell us a little about these backlinks? Are they blog comments, profile links, pligg bookmarks etc.? No one would be able to tell you what to do without knowing this. If it is automated blog comment and profile links then don't leave them. Disavow them immediately. Don't take chances. Keep working on another new one and then if this one recovers, maybe link from this one to new one.

  • 25 Web 2.0's with spun article (sketchy domains)
  • 24 Articles (different from web 2.0 but spun again) on websites such as articles.org
  • 5x same video on yt, videobash, popscreen etc.
  • 59 social bookmarks
  • 97 forum profiles
Tier 2:
  • 761 Wiki links
  • 317 social bookmakrs
  • 100 web 2.0
  • 300 forum profiles
Tier 3:

so your tier 1 should have been tier 2 to some other high quality tier 1 backlinks. You should have built some high quality tier 1 backlinks to your website first with unique content, and then ordered this service on those backlinks. Spun content + profiles and all used to work in 2013 or something. I would suggest disavow these backlinks. And please make sure you build only high quality backlinks to your main website.

Alright, thanks. I will disavow the forum profiles and most of the Web 2.0's & articles(I'll go through these manually).
But, what about the social bookmarks?

I registered about 11 web 2.0's 2 weeks ago, so I will start to post content on those over the next few weeks. 2 of them are expired and have high DA/PA. Should I use these?

Can you tell the domains of those social bookmarks? If they are good then let them be. I think all this was done using senuke or rankerx.

Yes you can use the web20s to start building backlinks. This way you will build high quality backlinks which will help you (maybe not a lot but still something).

That's some 2010-11 stuff right there. Do they offer link wheels as well?

With it only being a fairly new affiliate site, I'd start over and learn from your mistakes.
