Thanks. I'll add something on keyword research when I start to add more articles. Basically, it's looking at low competition keywords from niche competitor sites.

Update

• Web 2.0s - I ordered 25 of these from @ofuture. These were delivered on 15/7/19, so took about 7 days from placing the order which I think is okay. Communication is always excellent with this seller. The package also included 250 tier 2 social bookmarks, which in theory should help them index. As of today, 4 out of the 25 are indexed, which I don't think is too bad. 4 of these are also showing in AHrefs. Cost $15.
• Profiles - I keep checking these and none are indexed. These are at least 5 days old now. I may have to purchase some cheap T2 links to see if I can get these indexed.

Still to do:

• A decision on the mini-authority package - still on the fence with this one
• PBN links - do I go with a service or start to build my own?

I'm a bit tight on budget for the next week, so will not b able to order anything until next week anyway.

Total cost so far: $16.50

Thought it would be useful to share this ranking info.....although nothing much interesting happening at the moment

A quick review of the original to-do list:

1. Transfer site to a new host and get stable ranking on the URLs - DONE
2. Purchase profiles (DONE) and mini-diversity package to home page. Would not expect this to have any impact on rankings for inner URLs, just there for diversity. Cost ~$15
3. Order Web 2.0s to home page/inner pages - $15 - DONE
4. Order cheap PBN service to inner page only (different to Web 2.0 target pages) -~$50
5. Wait 3-4 weeks for rankings to stabilise.
6. Order Web 2.0 T2 links - $25
7. Continue to look at options for building my own PBN.

I really need to start to pick up the pace with link building so hopefully, this will improve over the next couple of weeks.

• 10x Profile links to home page - 21 days old now but only 3 out of the 10 links are indexed. Will be pointed some tier 2 links to the non-indexed URLs
• 25x Web 2.0 links to target page/home page - 17 days old now and 52% of links are indexed which I'm reasonably happy with. Again I will point some T2s at the non-indexed URLs. The target keyword has moved from top 20 to mid-40s and is now at #6
• 5x @Jay Yadav mini authority package (25x links to target page). TAT was within the specified time. Disappointingly, 4 out of the 5 PBN links are dead already! Currently, after 8 days only 7 of the 26 links (27%) are indexed, even though the service includes T2/T3 links. Target keyword has moved from #77/78 to #57, which is a +20 increase (probably due to the one PBN link).

• 150x social bookmarks to the 7 non-indexed profiles that were pointing at the home page - $1.50
• 1000 T2 /10000 T3 GSA blast from @SEO Controller to existing 25x Web 2.0s T1 - $9 (BST link)
• 5x PBN links to 3rd money page - $50 one-off fee

• 10x profile links to home page: 20% (30% last update). Waiting for T2 links to hopefully kick in (see above).
• 25x Web 2.0 to target page #1: 48% (52% last update). Waiting for T2 links to hopefully kick in (see above).
• 5x JayYadev packages: 20% (27% last update). Not overly impressed with this service. 4 out of the 5 PBN links are dead (he is replacing them) and overall indexing rates are poor considering this package includes T2/T3 links.

• 10x profile links to home page: Still only 20% indexed (20% last update). Will wait to see what 150x social bookmark T2 links do (these have been delivered since the last update).
• 25x Web 2.0 to target page #1: 40% indexed(48% last update). Indexing rate seems to be dropping off slightly each week. Order some GSA T2 links to these Web 2.0's but no confirmation that these have been processed yet.
• 5x JayYadev packages to target page #2: 20% indexed (20% last update). Still waiting for an update on the dead PBN links (4 out of 5).
• 5x @ofuture PBN links to target page #3: no report provided (good) but already seen a decent improvement in the SERPs for the target keyword.

• Increase article/word count by targetting some low comp information keywords.
• Build out a better "silo" structure using the information articles and improved linking between existing articles.
• Look at what pages to target with link building next within this silo.
• Build some PBN links and diversity links to the home page (and possibly main silo page) to improve "authority".
• Consider starting a Pinterest account to get some social traffic.

If you are persistent it will work.
Just a suggestion. Be careful when buying links. Poor quality links can tank your site.
Keep a close watch for links and manual action inside Google search console .

By the way, are you still a Project24 member? If yes, would you mind sharing the Acabado theme?
