Hey guys im new to this and was just wondering if you could give me some tips on this .
I want to basically sign up for Amazon associate, then find the best selling jewerly for girls/boys on Amazon and basically resell them on my Shopify store.
To get traffic to the store i would try Advertising with Facebook or something like that. I have couple thousand to mess around with ads.

Question1: When signing up for Amazon Associate do you need to have a blog with traffic already? Or can it be just my store without traffic ?

Question2: What would be the best choise for advertising something like this ? Facebook ? Insta? Maybe there's a really good post somewhere that explains exactly this ?
Just trying to start somewhere :D

I appreciate any help & tips in advance!

Tbh don't understand your concept. Do you want to get an amazon associate account and then buy all the stuff yourself with your own ref link? I guess you will be removed/banned from the program for doing that.

Question 1: You will need to get 3 verified purchases in 90 days if I'm not mistaken, and after that, you can be accepted.
Question 2: I guess this depends fully on your products/niche. I can't really give you any advice on where to advertise something without knowing what you want to sell.

I'm not sure if i even need the amazon associates acct. Can i just copy and paste the products from Amazon to a Shopify store and when someone buys from my shop i could just put their details in amazon and order the thing for themk directly to their house.
Like that can work right or am i missing somnething important ?
Please help lol im new

I'd suggest you to do more and more research regarding making money online, dropshipping, amazon FBA, Amazon affiliates etc. And don't just throw away a couple thousands like that - it's not as easy as they make it look. There's lots of research involved etc.

Your concept is faulty. Here's why:

1) If you plan to buy from amazon and send to someone - the cost is gonna be high and Amazon doesn't like that = they will ban you.
You can buy those same/similar products from manufacturers at much cheaper price and sell them on your store/ dropship.

2)If you want to sell products on amazon using affiliate links, then what you have to do is Basically write articles about that product, make videos etc and give them your affiliate link.
Example:

Benefits of fish oil & omega 3 - then you explain all and why we should take it, the research, etc and then say I reccomend this brand: and you link them your amazon affiliate link. But you are not selling the products yourself.

Im not trying to buy from amazon and then resend the product from my home to the buyer. Im trying to sell a product on my shop for lets say $30 (bracelet). The buyer would buy from my site and when they fill out their name and shipping adress i would write that down and then go to Amazon and buy that product for $20 with my own money and keep the $10 profit.

Like that's doable right or am i still missing something ?
I have money to learn and play around with advertising. Im just trying to make this happen.

Like is this concopt flawed somehow or it's doable ?

It woudn't be like dropshipping, it would be more like forwarding the buyer details to amazon and buy it with my own money and have the product sent directly to them

You have to take many things into consideration, including delivery costs, delivery time, returns, chargebacks etc.
It is a legit practice, but can have pitfalls.

Look up Retail Arbitrage/Online Arbitrage, I think that is what you are trying to do.

Yes I totally understood your concept when I answered.

Actually if you bought from Amazon, got it home and then reshipped, that would be ok.
But to use your own account and put different addresses each time - and then your customers gonna find out product is coming from Amazon - that might be a problem both from the customer side and Amazon side. Around 8 years ago, I looked briefly into this, and it wasn't allowed from amazon side not sure about now - but also the concept is a bit flowed - and not an actual long term business model.

You'll be depending on many people = Amazon - Amazon seller - ads - stripe/PayPal - shopify etc.

Meaning = if one of these closes on you, your business would suffer deeply from it - and likely one of those gonna close on you as do not have much control on anything.

-PayPal/stripe block money even if your business is good.

-facebook ads/google also ban your account for nothing

Amazon I can't say much, but at least you'd be dealing with real people.

You need really good Ads to make this work

If i buy the products from amazon and resell it on my site that would not be very efficient and i would lose money sending products back and forht

Question 1: You don't necessarily need a blog or website with existing traffic to sign up for the Amazon Associate program.

Question 2: For advertising, Facebook and Instagram are both great platforms to promote your products. You can use Facebook Ads Manager to create targeted ads that reach your desired audience based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.

Thank you for your answer :)

Best way to do amazon to shopify without getting dinged with bad reviews and pissed off people when they get a big box thats obviously from amazon is to get your packages sent to a repackaging/relabeling company so it doesn't show up as from amazon but from you

Never jump into paid ads if you don't have an existing audience to retarget. 99% of the time its burning your money, instead.. send some targeted traffic to your website so your pixel collects their data then retarget

Got an update on this! Basically i decided to do online arbitrage and made a amazon seller account. I got some tools to reasearch if the product will be profitable like seller amp and keepa.
I didn't know that you are gated for basically everything so i decided to get ungated in the beauty category. I chose a Neutragena product and got 10 of them (makeup remover). When i receive them i have to upload an invoice for them and some pictures of the product. You must have an invoice that shows 10 products from that brand. Hopefully i will get ungated for more than Neutragena and could start selling some beauty products.

Anybody has tried seller amp? It's a bit complicated but im learning still.

Let you know how the ungating will go! :)
