Oh yeah great idea i am all for it. I love 7878 method but theres gotta b more to that

I'd like to see this section as well. I'd also love to volunteer to moderate this section as well as I run a decent sized established ORM agency (20+ employees in house + large team of VA's) so I'd like to say I'm pretty experienced in this field.

+1 to that. I see a lot of ORM service requests these days.

I voted and a really great idea!

There are so many people out there completely ruined by what's called Google's policy of "freedom to speak" for everyone.
This policy protects those who slander and libel on innocent persons and Google not only allows these "bloggers" to do so, but does not remove this material, even after years.

ORM is not an easy task and needs attention!

I myself started ORM as one of those being slandered.

Cheers
Dan

i am definitely interested! i ve been looking around for reputation management through all SEO online forums, but cannot seems to find any.
if you guys add a section in RM, you ll definitely be the first!
thank you for the great idea, BHopkins!

That is indeed a great idea. Actually I do ORM for a lot of my local seo clients and I would be interested in following the best practices in the area.

That will be really nice to have!
I am about to start something related to Reputation in my area and will be nice to learn few things from the pro's here! as
i don't have match knowledge in this field.

And will be nice to be open to all people !... So i voted "Yes".

Thank you,
N.

It sounds like a great idea, eventually this service will become main stream as time goes by and improving our knowledge will be beneficial to all involved. Hope that the pros are tolerant with newbies, like me.

But if you were to moderate it, wouldn't you have a personal stake in the content of the forum since, I'm guessing, that's your business?

Voted Yes. I totally agree for a separate reputation management section.

There are other layers of accountability on BHW. There are Moderators, Super Moderators and then the Admins. No Moderators have the power to dictate what you're suggesting. 90% of the people that I work with are businesses and individuals, not BHW members.

An easy YES. Excellent suggestion.

I also agree that the SEO sections are spammed with irrelevant threads and hope this section will be moderated closely to keep its quality.

110% agreed. I've looked for groups focused on reputation and haven't found them, and the questions I've asked here about reputation have usually gotten lost in the shuffle.

I would be happy to moderate this section so it doesn't become a burden to the existing mods who have their hands full.

I volunteer to moderate too. I haven't been that active on BHW, but I've moderated groups online since BBS days. And... I work in reputation management every day.

Thanks for all the feedback and PM's that I've received. BHW likes to leave these threads open about a week to get feedback before making any decisions so a decision is likely to be coming in the somewhat near future. After that rules will need to be set up so I would imagine that with everything else they have going on it will likely be in a few weeks, maybe a month or two at the most if the reputation management section gets approved and added. I'll make sure and come back and PM everyone who posted in this thread once it's started and running.

Feel free to post any other feedback, comments or concerns and don't forget to vote!

It's always good to have different categorized sections, makes it easier to surf and gather more information, so my vote is yes.
