It's a great idea. BHW let us know your thoughts.

I agree 100% as well Damien, having a section that is devoted to the needs of corporate businesses, firms and professionals would be a powerful and resourceful addition to the BHW community.

Furthermore, as others have mentioned already, SEO directly ties into ORM and is often the main pillar and foundation for any successful ORM campaign.

With that being said, there are several ways to approach ORM, the black hat route and the white hat route, both of which are very effective and have been briefly discussed here on the forum's, the most famous one being from the BHW admin staff itself, 7878's thread on his approach to ORM marketing which is absolutely brilliant and I suggest everyone to
read it here.

Anyways! I believe a sub-section under the "White Hat SEO" section would be the best place to create this new forum section as 90% of ORM clients are usually lawyers, dentists and corporate professionals that are usually looking for a legal and effective method on how to properly manage their reputation online.

With that being said, this is BHW, so if the community is looking for both approaches then we can surely brainstorm with the mods and come up with a solution that satisfies the likes and needs of everyone here on this great forum!

Look forward to everyone's thoughts!
Mark

I agree! It's a good service to offer for offline businesses, one more stuff to the arsenal !

Any updates on when this section will be created?

I concur that we should have a reputation mgmt. Based on the value proposition, may I ask what are the contingency plans, pros and cons as well as the team of dedicated members to run the show.

And yes, many reputed members have spoken their ideas here - wonderful

Just wanted to follow up and let you all know that the BHW admin staff are still working out the details so we'll keep our fingers crossed!

Hope, the ORM section will be established soon?

I know from my own experience what it tells to be slandered online and how much work and SEO professionalism is involved to TRY to clean someones bad reputation.

I am not speaking about the peanuts of cleaning one bad blog comment, I am speaking about having the first 3 pages full of crap about someone. I think in such cases there is not much to do which is effective ORM.

I would be happy to offer my case, on which ORM has failed completely for now already 12 years!

I hope the best or those who think are the best will want to try their skills and provide proof that ORM works.

Cheers
Dan

Hey Dan, looks like we'll be set up and running hopefully later this month. The admin team has a lot on their plate with UnGagged and will get everything ready once they finish that up.

I can tell from your comments that you've never done actual ORM. You called a negative on page one "peanuts". You also imply that the first 3 pages are full of negatives and you've been working on it since 2002. Both sound very suspect to me. I work with multiple clients every day and have literally never seen the first 3 pages full of negatives especially if someone has worked on the problem for 12 years.

Your last comments offer someone the chance to prove ORM works and the implication is that the proof is their payment, not actual money. Most people here discussing ORM are professionals who make a living providing ORM services to clients. We're paid for that service. I'm happy to help, but you'll need to pay. If you'd like to discuss, give me a call, email or skype. My phone number can be found all over the web (Brandon Hopkins).

Hope, the ORM section will be established soon?

Hi Brandon, thanks for the answer.

Actually I had so called ORM companies (even very reputable ones) trying to clean it up and they failed.

I learned hard and have tried it than myself with no chance, especially if those ones slandering you, continue with the same efforts you do!

It's a one-to-one battle and there is no winner in the end as they do basically the same what you do, they perform negative ORM and you perform positive ORM. That's it!

I spend more than 100k on it already and I think, there is no one, who could really do a better job than my enemies that continue to slander all over the internet and the more I did or do, the more they did or will do.

I simply gave up, quit my job and started new.

Anyway, thanks for the offer and what I have offered is a case to learn for all of us, as there is nothing to loose, if there is anyone who is really able to try it. I had someone from here lastly and opened my case, discussed on Skype and they even did not come back.

After spending 100k, I sure might be willing to pay but just only if the ORM has worked and stays positive over long term.

Any way, would like to join this group and contribute with what was done, what has worked for few weeks and what is failing miserably.

Cheers
Dan

+1, great idea! :D

It would be a very nice addition to the website :).

I sent you a PM Dan.

Wow well as the biggest ORM player on the forum here who remembers helping Bhopkins many moons ago when he was getting started and then watching his PBN rank and tank it is quite interesting to see all of this.

ORM has many different strategies and would be afraid to let some of the noobs realize the loopholes that I use to solve clients issues because it would cost our business hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

Soon we are going to be rolling out a service right here at BHW to Deindex defaming content as we have used it and been profitable with it for clients. The issue with us doing that is it will soon be harder to do for clients as we gain too much attention.

I vote maybe on the section but will certainly be peeking my head in to see whats going on.

@charto03 You'll have to jog my memory! What did we discuss? I started in reputation management in 2007 and joined this forum in 2010 so I had at least an idea what I was doing after 3 years ;)
