Hi, so I know there's KWFinder/Ahrefs (too expensive), Ubersuggest (not sure how to use properly; supposed to have a keyword difficulty metric but doesn't show it in search results), and Moz/Keysearch.co are options, I guess, but I don't know how trustworthy their KW difficulty scores are. I'm confused with all the methods of doing manual research too. I read Hacko's post but KWFinder's too expensive. What can I do? I'm a noob, obviously. Should I just buy KWs? Also, I tried registering a Moz trial but my card didn't work. I already have a Semrush trial running.

I'm on Semrush and the lowest difficulty for the kws I searched is 50. Is Semrush reliable?

Keyword Keg looks good but it's too expensive for me at the moment.

I'm following the Amazon 5a guide and using Keywords Everywhere to tell me kw difficulty but everything I search is either a 0 with no searches or a 1 with searches. For example, smith machine has a competition of 1 and smith machine 2018 has competition 0 but no searches. KWFinder for best smith machine (limited searches for now) says Easy (29). Should I just Fiverr buy a bulk KWFinder search, find easy related kws and start a site and writing content already?

you can get Ahref for about 20$ a month with seotoolgroupbuys (or groupbuyseotools) . I used to buy WordAi seperately from one of those sites for 6 bucks and they actually give me access to their account for a month. But still ,do it at your own risk. You could be scammed.

So should I just rely on Ahref? Also, if I decide to buy a kw in the marketplace, do the services just give you one $20-$50 kw or do they deliver a bunch of kws? Are they for micro-niche sites or authority sites? They don't say in their descriptions. Is there something I'm supposed to know or should I ask them?

I never bought kws from those services. You can ask them for sure.
