I have 2 points

1) I have reported a few posts if it has any selling motive. But I do not know what kind of action was taken on that report. if you know what kind of action has been taken for the previous report means, next time as a member you can do proper action if you see the same kind of posts.

2) Sometimes if someone posts with the intention of selling it exist in the site for a longer period. Most of the time they might get results of those posts. Yes, I understand Mod can not be available every time. But I am sure BHW members will report if they see those kinds post. (you can encourage this by sending notification and appreciation - if you did some internal work means that will help to select the future BHW staff). So, In the report option, you can consider giving options like Selling, Spamming, violating content, other, etc... For example, if there are more than five members reported a post for selling means with the immediate effect that post has to be temporarily deleted. After the mod review only it has to be visible.

What do you guys think about this?

mods wont explain the action taken - they just deal with it

Couldn't agree more with you! :)

Just chill out dude. Excepting appreciation is not a crime. It's mods decision I am not interrupting. I am just suggesting it.

At least if they give some feedback I can know I did some thing correct or wrong. That's it.

Our main concern is
Stoping the random selling spam thread. What do you think about adding additional options if I click the report button?

We do try and give feedback but time constraints get in the way sometimes. We may open the section where the reports are located and see 50 reports. Taking care of the report and explaining what all went on in those instances can be cumbersome so we do not always have time to do that.

I always believed that the first reporter gets the comment. I was kinda right. :)

Yup, understandable. Some auto or standard templates will minimize the work load.

What about your opinion on adding additional options if I click the report button?
