Hello everyone, I have recently started growing an Instagram page. It seems like it is very competitive nowadays compared to old days, 1 week in I have 110 followers and quite minimal reach: the followers were mainly coming through follow4follow, so I imagine the reels views as well.
So I have decided to post the same content on Facebook as well and I noticed some huge numbers in terms of reach, views and engagement as my most performing reel have exceeded the 100k mark. Note that the Facebook and Instagram are both fresh accounts with no prior use.
My question is: How does the reel algorithm compare between the two platforms? Did I get lucky, or Facebook is actually pushing more reel content ?
