Redirecting Shopify URL

Hello guys,

I purchased my domain on namecheap for my shopify store. I was wondering how do you set up a redirect URL to each product instead of having that long ugly link. I would like it to look like:

mywebsitedotcom/socks instead of mywebsitedotcom/category/products/socks

Under navigation. Top right corner it says url redirects. Click that

I tried that. It will look like this mywebsitedotcom/products/socks I have been seeing some people use redirects with the product name after the.com
