Reddit bot for affiliate marketing - upvoting issues

Currently using a reddit bot for affiliate marketing, the bot is working fine, the issue I am having though is that when I run the bot none of the upvotes are counting. At first I thought the issue could be that reddit realizes it is a bot trying to upvote these comments, so it does not count the upvotes, but when I logged in to reddit and tried upvoting any comment I saw, whenever I reloaded my tab the upvote would go back down to the number it was at before. Then I thought the issue might be the accounts, so I tried my personal 1.5 year old reddit account (no karma though) and tried upvoting but the number still would not go up. Although, when I tried upvoting on that same account on the reddit app, the upvote would count.
Could the issue be that reddit recognizes I am using my PC to run a script and therefore flagged my device? I can't think of anything else that could be an issue. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

I can think of a few things, maybe the bot has lost the current selector and this is the reason the upvote is not working. Not sure if you can check if the selector has changed, etc.

If the selector is ok, It could be the IP(s) are on a sort of blacklist, or maybe the user agent is detected as a bot and reddit uses a honeypot trap to avoid bot upvoting.
