Reconsideration Request?

Hello,

Anyone experienced who has filed a "reconsideration request" in the past can tell me how much time it usually takes to get reviewed. I am talking about "Unnatural links penalty".

I am waiting for 4 weeks now. The reconsideration request was filed with the old console, do I need to file another one with the new console or just wait.

Let me know as this is my first time with a reconsideration request.

I don't have any experience in this, however from what I've read, it is a waste of time.

I have never got lucky with this have been filling the form for some of my sites and non got reconsidered very sad

Hmmm, I have removed tons of backlinks, disavowed the rest, I think it's worth it. Just want to know if I Can again resubmit or need to wait for the 1st one to be reviewed?

You should probably wait and give it like more 3 to 5 days and see how it goes if nothing happens then try resending the request again. please update us how the process goes

That's a long time. You can remind them of your request if you are confident that you've done all you can.
Meanwhile, while you are waiting, I hope you are working on other sites as well.

Resubmit? Won't it will delay much further?

I've recovered a few domains.

I waited a couple of months since the penalty, cleaned them up, added tons of legit content and then asked for a review.

Took them on average 2 to 3 weeks.

Don't ask for reconsideration immediately after getting penalized, they'll ignore it.

There is that risk. Only you know how much risk you can tolerate.

I took a week and most of the backlinks like 60% have been removed permanently. It's just I am waiting for 4 weeks without a review. I did receive the email about the reconsideration request

From 10k/month to pennies.

One more thing, if you are saying the will ignore it. So will they review the site or just reject it?

It can a few days or a few weeks , but if you do good i think under 10 work days

interested to know what did you do to get such a notice? what kind of backlinks did you create? how was your content?

Yes, There are cases where the reconsideration request has been accepted in the first attempt and there are other cases where manual penalty has been approved after 3-4 reconsideration requests through google webmaster.

Once you've submitted the reconsideration request, you can start working on your site with pure white hat method.
